The earliest story is a bit of a long one to type out, so I'll just give the gist of it.
When I was pretty young, maybe around ten, there was this girl that I started to get close to. We were fast friends, and we would meet up and talk about shit a lot. I was fucking stupid though. Some guy I can barely even remember now was making fun of us, and she was telling me to stay by her side. I got in shitloads of trouble back then for the stupidest fucking reasons, and I didn't want any more, so I walked away from him so I hopefully wouldn't have to deal with that. As I did, she ran off and cried. Something, deep, deep inside of me knew I fucked up, but I didn't realize just what it was until years later.
I was so fucking close to living the ultimate dream. I could have been the one guy in a million who ended up with his childhood friend if I wasn't such a colossal fuckup. I was so close to happiness, or at least something better than this.
That was just the beginning, the ultimate foreshadowing for what was to become of my life. Later on is just person after person dissapearing from my life for one reason or another. Now I'm just a ghost. A walking reminder of all the things that could have been if I could even keep so much as a friend.

I was heavily depressed and suicidal for about 7 years. I have rows of cuts on my arms and legs. Like I've previously stated, I am a former speed addict. I have anxiety so bad it makes me unable to sleep properly (when I work or go to school) and Im prone to attacks at said places.
Now Im not suicidal, not very depressed at all, and Im in therapy to improve upon my anxiety.
Things CAN get better. But gaining a physical addiction is a set back. Suicide throws any chance you have of improving your life away, too. And Im not trying to come off as harsh here, I am 100% sympathetic.
I would suggest trying to quit drinking, or at the least, get it under control.
If weed isn't your thing, try LSD/psilocybin. A dose of LSD 4 months ago made me stop my suicidal thinking. Its highly effective at treating depression.
I would also recommend against using meds for general anxiety/depression. Because that's basically using drugs to feel better.
Just hang in there, I hope it gets better for you. I, myself, hated hearing, "it will get better" which is why I like to say there is potential for it getting better.
