OP might never get it from "ASMR channels" at all. I can get it from a lot of different things but those channels just always make me uncomfortable. I've gotten it while playing a game and listening to a character speak though, or with music, or sometimes even while reading. It doesn't always have to be in a quiet or calm manner either, I've gotten it while hearing someone scream before. It also happened once when my cat was tapping its paw on me while I was half asleep, kind of like how it happens with haircuts for some people lol.

Sometimes I'll find a song that does it for me, but if I listen to it too much then it stops working and I need to rotate it with something else. I guess it just becomes too familiar and you need something that seems new again.
