So /sw/, I know that not everyone here (or anywhere) is fond of Star Wars: The Old Republic, and many recognize it as one of Bioware/EA's many examples of greedy corporate douchery and also the Revan character rape (among other things). But still, its the only major SW MMO out there and it has a shit ton of content, and I thought it would be nice if we had a thread specifically about SWTOR in hopes that maybe we could play together, form our own guild or just help each other out with stupid missions. The game is not as hard as it used to be sadly since they nerfed it by adding difficulty bullshit and even a single player can do a heroic mission by themselves as long as they have decent armor and a healer. But still, we could get together and kill world bosses and whatnot, or just harass other players and hope we don't get banned… If not, just call me a faggot/SWTOR shill and we'll just pretend this never happened.

The problem, OP, is that it's not really a multiplayer game anymore. That and the hilarious lack of difficulty makes it hard to play in general.
>>10447
The story is good for some of the classes, and at this point you can play the whole thing singleplayer pretty much (certainly the stories). Most people play it as though it's single player. Only problem is the difficulty has been lowered to laughable levels so the game becomes a bit boring as you grind through it. I'd say it's worth playing through a few stories before it gets shut down by EA when they lose the Star Wars license.

Thankfully nobody uses crossguard sabers anymore (at least not Dark Side players). I'm not so sure about Light Side though. However during the first 3 months of TFA, that shit was almost everywhere among retards trying to cosplay as Revan, and even now there are idiots asking for "Jakku" and shit exclusive to Clone Wars and Rebels to be added into SWTOR. But its all mostly Jakku which is just a soulless and disgusting Tatooine, much like every other copycat planet in Nu Wars. Thankfully its only the younger newfags who usually say it and a few "female" players early on before 2017 came around. A lot of the more obnoxious players disappeared after the 2016 Elections after players started spamming MAGA and other offensive memes to drive out the newfags and pansies. Now all you see in the chat is the occasional request for help, trades, casual talk and some shitposting, with the rare Jakkufag.

Sith Warrior is almost as good as Imperial Agent though. The Bounty Hunter storyline has its appeal, but it really doesn't give you much freedom in terms of choice, which feels as limited as the Light Side factions, except you can never play as a good guy or an intelligent bounty hunter, even after the Supreme Chancellor gives you a pardon.

I played it when it came out and, honestly, the game didn't deserve a lot of the hate /v/ threw at it. It's not great, but it's not terrible either, and it has its qualities. Nowadays, I feel nostalgic for it simply on the grounds that it's the last major piece of EU content.
It's especially fun with friends. Of course, any game is, but TOR is or at least was especially geared towards playing in a group due to the social points system, I actually wish WoW would do something like this.
I can't commend on any of the storylines because I never actually finished any - I quit playing after my leveling group disintegrated and shortly afterwards, I found out what they did with (or, rather, to) Revan and the Exile and lost interest.
tl;dr, for all its flaws, the game didn't deserve to fail as hard as it did, even though it was fun as fuck to watch.
If anyone is up to start a group, guild or whatever, I'm certainly up for it.

I’ve played on and off since launch and only quit last fall again. While I hate the Revan stuff and the absurdity of an entire unknown empire in the unknown regions I really did enjoy the first eternal throne expansion. The second one was good also, and I think there is a third out out now. Though I do miss playing every day after school with my friend like we used to do, but he doesn’t play anymore. When it first came out I was in middle school still and we were so excited. We even bet credits on random shit everyday and by the time I got it (like 5-6 months after launch, he owed me a few hundred thousand, which I thought was lots in the game, before I got it. Fug the nostalgia is coming back. And even years before that when I bough my neighbour’s x-box and his copy of KoTOR. Good lord, my pre-teen orgasm when I found out I was Revan, the coolest fucker ever, I was literally estatic for days. I miss that. Now it would probably seem predicitable if I played it for the first time again, and I would be a cynical, depressed piece of shit and probably wouldn’t like the game that much, which is why I am afraid to replay it on PC with content restoration mods or to even re-read the Bane trilogy.

I just played through both KotORs not too long ago, and I accidentally revealed the twist to myself really early on while browsing the wiki, I personally thought it held up. Combat was a quail hunt towards the end, but the "easy mode" mentality was brief enough that it didn't have a chance to go from the high of power-fantasy to the low of grindfest.

Is it ever hinted anywhere if there's a possibility that Palpatine is actually Emperor Vitiate's spirit reborn in a desperate attempt to avoid death after his main body was destroyed? I mean Vitiate could hop from body to body as a casual thing, but with his life and spirit in danger at the hands of the SWTOR heroes and Revan, if he suffered a severely fatal blow that forced him to perform some kind of last ditch effort to survive, could he have desperately forced himself into an unborn child and be born anew with no recollection of his past due to the harm to both his body and spirit at the hands of the heroes? Or is it possible that Palpatine may be a direct descendant of the Emperor's original body or one of his later ones? No doubt someone like the original Emperor probably got around a lot when his original body was at its peak.

I'm right at the very end of a playthrough of KotOR 1 right now, for the first time since I was about 10. Even with how easy the combat gets I still don't know how I finished it then, given that it was the first RPG I ever played and I had no idea what 1d6 or DC10 meant.
I feel like the Malak fight might give me a hard time this run, though I haven't tried yet. I went LS Consular without thinking about what powers I would actually have access to, and while Stasis Field and Force Wave are great at dealing with groups, they're not so useful against a single target with high resistances. The endless waves of dark jedi and sith troops in the Star Forge got decimated, and with my WIS and regen bonuses I don't think my force points have dropped below 50% since before the Leviathan, but I suspect Malak isn't too vulnerable to CC powers.
I haven't actually played KotOR 2 yet, so I'll be starting that once I finish the first.

This is a very, very wrong opinion to have. KotOR2 is superior to the first game in almost every way, and it contains significant amounts of character development for Revan that adds a lot of complexity to him (hint: talk to Kreia a lot).
I would HIGHLY recommend playing the game with the TSLRCM mod installed. It restores a fuckton of cut content and fixes all of the bugs.
>From what I've read about TORtanic, I should stay a mile away from this for the very same reason? Too bad, the talk about the imperial agent storyline had me intrigued.
Play Imp Agent and ignore everything else. If you are worried about Revan's character being ruined, then don't play the Shadow of Revan expansion.

>KotOR2 is superior to the first game in almost every way
I just finished it for the first time.
If nothing else, it depends on what you want out of the game. KotOR1 is a lot more conventional, while the sequel is something of a deconstruction. If you go into the game saying "I want to become a Jedi and go on a quest to save the galaxy from evil" or "I want to embrace the might of the Dark Side and rule the galaxy", then KotOR 1 is going to be more satisfying. KotOR 2 is what you get if you look at how the Force is supposed to connect and surround everything, and how Obi-Wan "felt a disturbance in the force" after Alderaan was destroyed, then take those ideas to an extreme.
The entire tone of the game was different and I don't think it would be unreasonable to prefer 1.
Unfortunately the ending of my playthrough was ruined by a dialogue bug, with the game skipping through all of Traya's dialogue before, during, and after the fight, and Visas' dialogue after I beat Traya. I finished the fight, selected a few answers to questions I hadn't heard, and waited for an ending cutscene to wrap things up only to have the credits roll. Felt very unsatisfying.
I will say his fear that it would ruin Revan is definitely unfounded though.
>I would HIGHLY recommend playing the game with the TSLRCM mod installed.

I preferred the first KotOR for its purity-of-vision and beauty. The music and atmosphere gives me feels that I don't get from the more cerebral approach that TSL took. Basically, I consider the I vs II contest to come down to strong emotional content vs strong intrigue. For example, in KotOR II, most of my actions are driven by logic, and thinking about the long term consequences of those actions ("echoes"); I still do this in KotOR I, but the focus is more on what feels right or wrong morally in that situation. However, i am actually incapable of doing the full dark side path through KotOR I because I actually care about the characters, and just can't bring myself to do those terrible things, whereas I have no such inhibitions with II (I care, but they still feel like 'game characters' and not real friends when push comes to shove).

I definitely cared a lot less about the party characters in KotOR 2. There were some in 1 I tended to ignore (I hardly ever spoke to Mission, and have never done her brother quest) but they all had a degree of presence.
The party in 2 isn't memorable or impactful. Look at how HK-47 mockingly impersonated Carth if you asked him about his time with Revan. In a hypothetical KotOR 3, what would be an equivalent impersonation? I remembered Carth years after I first played KotOR in a way I will never remember someone like Atton. As another example, Zaalbar was a character, while Hanharr was a means of delivering swords to enemies while tinting the screen red.
The Disciple was most egregious for me. Maybe it was because I was Dark Side, but he basically didn't exist. I tried talking with him but I could never shake the feeling that there was no reason for him to be on my ship at all.

That's because he was in a very real sense tacked on. You only get the Disciple in your party if you play as a chick, and he replaces the far more organic Handmaiden character.

Why though? Why would they even change that? If they wanted an obligatory romance option they already had Atton and fucking Sion somehow so I don't understand why they'd make such a drastic change to the detriment of the character.
Especially since the female route was canonized, making Disciple the "proper" companion.

It was my first class back in dec 2011 and I always thought it felt like diet mass effect minus the charm. I can't stand General Garza either. There's something inherently uncool about that storyline. I think most troopers probably have their own subtle larp going on since the whole Havoc squad thing is kind of lame. As far as Republic classes go I remember smuggler being kind of fun, but even that storyline requires a bit of larping. At least you get Gus Tano.
Vanguard/Powertechs were really fun to play though, especially in PVP. Not quite the adrenaline rush you get as a Marauder/Sentinel, but pretty fun and effective nonetheless.

REAL TALK THO
what will be the actual end of swtor? a hefty chunk of it is voice-acted storymode. Most tourists and casual players have always played it as a singleplayer game. I doubt swtor will end with a classic case of "shut down the servers and throw it in the garbage". They will definitely do something with those assets. Maybe turn it into an offline game? who knows.

BioWare's writers are wrapping up the Eternal Throne stuff with a cluster bomb of convenient plot twists to destroy everything that made the third faction single-player story feasible. Players will now be forced to choose Republic or Empire as the game returns to that conflict, but they're implying that it's a chance to switch factions if you like. This is further corroborated by the fact that they're patching all PvP to be faction-neutral. It helps with queues on a small and shrinking player base but it also breaks a much bigger taboo for the lore than even the tidal wave of fanfiction elements in the Eternal Throne introduced. Republican Sith? Imperial Jedi? I think this is the strongest suggestion the game is in its last years.

Admittedly, I'll always have a soft spot for that game because I really enjoyed it back in 2011 until I heard what they did with Revan and lost interest. But now it's the last major piece of EU material before the buyout, so it's been really growing on me, if only because the Disney stuff is so bad in contrast.
I actually started playing again with a couple of friends and it's been a blast. Not because the game is especially fun or anything, but the F2P mode is just transcendentally brilliant. EA actually managed to apply the "so bad it's good principle" to a fucking MMO subscription model. It's amazing.
>Two action bars only
>No group or general chat
>You can't even put on equipment you find in flashpoints
The good thing is that most of the restrictions only apply to the MMO elements, so if you're in for the story you won't run into too much trouble. I'm playing an Imperial Agent right now, and I really like it so far. My toon is a Jedi Knight, that's not too bad, either so far. I also like the design of the flashpoints. For example, you can actually use your crew skills to unlock shortcuts, and it's a paradise for roleplayers due to group dynamics and being able to talk to the other faction. I won't lie, I'll miss it when they eventually shut it down.

I think that's a bit of a theme I'm noticing. While the writing is all over the place (sometimes dull, other times interesting, sometimes pants-on-head-retarded or just generally underwhelming), I haven't found any parts yet that have actively stopped me from playing. There's other games that I actually had to put down for a bit when the writing became unbearable, but so far TOR hasn't been one of them. That's something, I guess.

After. Mass Effect 1&2 and Dragon Age Origins were released shortly after the buyout and were great. Then came Dragon Age II. Then came TOR. Then came Mass Effect 3, then it was over.
What people tend to forget, though, is that TOR wasn't even really made by BioWare. Back in 2007, EA re-named a whole bunch of studios to BioWare, like Mythic Studios to BioWare Mythic, or Victory Studios to BioWare Victory. For TOR, they opened an entirely new studio and called it BioWare Austin. That explains how the game was so shoddy in the technical department the studio actually never had made a game before. Why they didn't give it to Mythic, who had made Warhammer Online and Dark Age of Camelot before I will never understand.

I do have to agree about that. All the brutality and grittiness comes across as really forced, and a lot of the marketing material was just cringy. They even had a trailer set to music of Marilyn Manson. Laughable.
The thing is that it's not as bad within the actual game. Most of the time it's not being shoved into your face that your playing a br00tal advlt RPG, it all comes together pretty nicely. There's also enough comic relief with characters like Alistair, Oghren, Sten and Zevran.

Nah, it is. Just because cucks are outraged (which they do about everything) doesn't make the serious flaws in the game non-existent. I mean the engine alone and how it can't handle PVP of any substantial number to save it's life makes it a bad MMO. Could have been a good single player RPG but then they shit it up with the WOW 2.0 combat which makes everything feel less satisfying and more like a grind. By the way I say all this as someone who has been playing since launch and actually likes the game, but saying ALL the criticism isn't valid because snowflakes gotta get triggered is insanity.

I didn't mind how they characterized him for the foundry arc, though, because keeping him a canon Stu to satisfy my inner 14-year-old wasn't a priority. Eh, sort of.
I wouldn't call it terrible. It has some good stuff in it and is far from unplayable or anything.
I think when it came out it just was the perfect storm of failing to live up to the hype, the shoddy engine, the lackluster writing, the fact that it wasn't really a MMO, rather a solo RPG with multiplayer elements, the fact that it was a pretty blatant WoW clone, or /v/ whipping themselves into a frenzy because EA took such a massive hit because of that game. It's not good, far from it, but it's not the worst thing ever. But maybe that's just me, because it will always hold a special place in my heart.
I will say that every complaint about the writing is perfectly valid. Also,

It's the story of a slave realizing his full potential despite having to claw his way through endless obstacles constructed by those too stubborn to let someone like him succeed, and despite all of that, he barely manages to scrape through most of it, even needing the help of Khem Val to be saved from Zash, who would've almost assuredly have stolen their body had it not been for y'boy Khem.
Then you run into your "rival," someone infinitely more experienced and powerful than you with a power base considerably more expansive and you're forced to find a quick route to power, which you end up paying for when said quick route threatens to destroy you and everything you've fought for, forcing you to have to re-create your body and undergo a mental trial in order to face your demons and the wills of those you captured before finally challenging your rival and finally claiming your rightful place on the Dark Council.

If you're like me and for some reason care about your build look up builds and see which one fits your playstyle. I enjoyed sniper for the amount of damage I could lay down, but kind of a waste since I only used it on heroic bosses given PVP is pretty shit on this terrible engine. Hero Engine is TOR's biggest flaw.

Is Knights of the Fallen Empire shit and gay? Is it worth my time? Also what's EA's shitty explanation for all the tech in SWTOR being on par or more advanced than the films and future media and somehow being ridiculously more advanced than Kotor? As well as aliens and locations that should not have been discovered yet existing in the Republic? Normally I could believe technology being set back a couple of centuries or more if some grand catastrophe occurred but it seems a good chunk of the galaxy has been mapped out already so I find it hard to believe that so much tech progress could have been lost for thousands of years if such an event did occur since records of such bullshit should've survived on many planets and even the holonet is shown to exist at this point so that info should have remained preserved unless there was an extensive period of creative and technological stagnation. So what was EA's explanation for their laziness?

For anyone who doesn't want to watch that video (you should, it's good) the TL;DR on the tech question is that the Great War which TOR is about included several world and galaxy destroying weapons and the war it's self was so intense that it wiped out most technological progression sending the galaxy in to a sort of dark age tech-wise, a dark age which it's still recovering from in the Prequels and OT. This fits with TOR's storyline as you encounter crazy weapons of mass destruction at every turn (doubly so if you're playing a Jedi Knight as the whole story is basically surrounding WMDs on both the Imperial and Republic side).

It's been a long time since I've played it but I throughly enjoyed the quests, the second one (eternal throne) wasn't as good but they were still better than any other expansion imo and better than some original quest lines.

The game's former greatest weakness is now ironically it's greatest strength. SWTOR used to be fucking dogshit because it fucked with the KOTOR games canon and basically ripped apart KOTOR II in an attempt to parasitically leech off of the game's popularity but now it's all "non-canon" due to Disney so SWTOR has the luxury of still existing in the far superior old-EU.

I just logged on for the first time in well over a year and I guess I’m on the same server, for some reason there’s only two NA servers now, I think I used to be on harbinger though. I like to RP in almost every game I play, it helps for immersion and escapism but it’s strictly in my head, pretending you’re actually a sith and replying to everything in charter is multiple levels of retarded.
When I was in high school I used to work at a local paintball field and whenever we had large groups of airsofters come in they all pretended they were in the military and like they were real oper8ors. One faggy group in particular was run by some brit who claimed to have served in Afghanistan and took a .308 to the knee yet had literally no issues walking and sprinting. They made all the kids and other fags do a mock parade before each day they came out to play. That’s probably where my pure disdain for RPing fags came.

I played the Ossus update today with my Imp Agent and I was pretty fucking disappointed. I understand they wrote themselves into a corner with the KotFE and KotET stuff but I feel like the overall quality of the writing in those two expansions was significantly better than what we got here. The story was not coherent, the characters were empty, and bringing back Malgus was a stupid move.
I'm just glad I'm not playing a Rep char so I don't have to deal with that new, horribly ugly negro Jedi companion they force on everyone stupid enough to play the worst faction.

They don't explain it. The dude literally just shows up inside a cargo pod and acts like his entire character arc from before doens't matter. He's apparently an Imperial patriot now and seems blindly loyal to the new Empress. You can ask him how he survived and his response can be summed up as "that's not important right now, but even if it were you don't actually want to know and I wouldn't tell you."
I hope he never shows up again. He was a good character before but I felt like his story was satisfactorily completed and I don't see the value in resurrecting him.

It expands Vitiate's characterization in a really original, and I would even say profound, way. It essentially posits the question of whether or not an all powerful sociopath would eventually find themselves inadvertently cured of their sociopathy via their own relentless will to power. Basically - Vitiate is an unfeeling psycho - but he's a psycho who wishes to gain ultimate power via sense experience in part. The base game hints at this when Vitiate claims he will use his immortality to experience the life of "a slave and a craftsman," rather than simply that of a sovereign. During his sojourn in the unknown regions, Vitiate then essentially teaches himself feeling and companion in his quest for ultimate power and has a family.
The game then proceeds to ruin this unique journey of self discovery by having him go: "lol actually I was still evil all along!" even though this outlook no longer makes logical sense. It's a real shame. They had something genuinely novel and they threw it away.

People bitched and moaned about the latest expansions, but frankly I found a lot of the writing in most of KotFE, and the first half of KotET, to be some of the best in the entire game. I was looking forward to leading a ragtag band of freedom fighters in the depths of Zakuul while simultaneously discovering the secrets behind the Sith Emperor and his rise to power.
Instead they forced my character to become emperor of nothing in particular, then destroyed everything he had built anyway so they could hamfistedly return the galaxy to a struggle between the Empire and Republic. I feel like they rushed a lot of content for these expansions to conclusion because people were upset, and in the process of doing that they wasted much of the potential that was there.

The Republic side has some genuinely awful storytelling. You can tell that they put most of their efforts into writing the Empire side as they needed to flesh out a newly introduced faction. The Trooper is a boring ZOGbot tier wank and the smuggler is downright fucking atrocious in terms of writing. Only saving grace of the smuggler is the sarcastic and joking responses that you can give and even then, the Inquisitor has them beat in that department by miles.

couldn't stand Mako tbh. I liked aspects of the the BH story, but I think the main problem was that the game has companions, which is fine for other classes I guess but with the bounty hunter it feels cooler to be alone. Maybe 1 sidekick or 2. This is why I like the old Jango Fett game.
>Consular
the female voice actress sounded really cute, really calm and collected and while it was great that it wasn't a shallow power-fantasy tripe like the boring Jedi Knight story, I have to admit I can't remember a single thing about it.
>Saving Agent for last since its supposedly the best of them all.
The Agent or the Warrior. Ultimately I think the Warrior is simply more fun, it feels like it had the most effort put into it. It could probably be its own singleplayer game. A lot of people like to play a lightside Warrior because it's surprisingly realistic/pragmatic, but I recommend just picking honest choices since alignment is irrelevant in swtor. If I remember correctly, I was equally surprised at how nuanced and funny the dark side choices were for the warrior as I was surprised at the light side stuff. It's definitely a class where you don't feel bad for picking "the wrong choice" in a dialogue scene. They make sure the player character always appears like the smartest guy in any situation. Not disney/marvel-type quippy either, just plain funny, smug and cool and ahead of the curve with plenty of authority. The inquisitor is similarily entertaining too but I can't remember what it was lacking. The Jedi characters though? totally impossible to pick any dark side choices, otherwise you'll just get cringy video related type situations:

The Consular has some really impressive Dark Side choices that are far more dark than any Sith DS choice in my opinion. Darkest one being the Imperial doctor you find on Hoth. You can either extract him to safety and he gives you the information willingly, or you completely twist and destroy his mind, forcing the information from him and then leaving him to die while his brain slowly melts to goo. Now that's fucked up, even to a Sith. Zenith really liked it though :^)

The Agent storyline was unironically fantastic. The only parts I hated were the mind control chapter (seriously, they spend the entire story talking up Imperial Intelligence as the baddest James Bond/Navy SEALs in existence, you'd think that resisting it would be a part of the training process) and the very end of the basic storyline
>Hello, my nemesis. I have you broken, beaten and at my feet. I have spent the entire game chasing you, being beaten to the punch by you, you have cost the Empire countless lives and millions of credits, and I have spent the entire game telling you that when I finally catch you, I'm going to kill you
>You're at my feet and I have won

NEW ACTUAL EXPANSION ANNOUNCED
I'm not holding out too much hope, but seeing as the new real improvements they've been adding recently, I can see they are at least trying to keep what is left alive.
Now for the juicy details.
New Storyline
New Planet - Onderon
New Planet - Mek-Sha
New Flashpoint - Corellia
New operation - Dxun
New Species - Nautolan
New Level Cap - 75
So now we have squid bros, a new level cap, KOTOR II planets and a return to Corellia. From what I've read, they are trying to expand the turncoat storyline even more and what I hope is coming from this is a complete side-switch which honestly should have been available from the game's launch. Multiple events in every character story gave you options for becoming a traitor but nothing came of it. Hoping this rectifies the biggest blueballing of the century.

It's more for Armour's sake. If they add a non-humanoid species they have to completely change how each set of armour fits on to them. Helmets just cancel out any lekku or feature that would fuck with them (I believe helmets for Twi'leks used to be forced hidden slots though), so no additional modeling is required but it would be a real pain to have to remodel every single piece of armour just to add a new species. Not that they can't do it, but for a free-to-play game it's somewhat understandable they don't won't to do that. Plus I'm not even sure Ithorians can speak basic, can they?

As it is they're not going to get new voice actors to redo all the lines anyways. I do think it would be cool to seen non-human's though but on top of the armour they'd have to redo all the animations.

Not necessarily. SW Galaxies for example had playable Ithorians and Sullustans which had the same game skeleton as humans, except with Ithorians, their hands and feet remained the same regardless of armor unless my memory is horribly mistaken.
To make Ithorians playable, just give them the same skeleton/animations as humans with only some minor tweeks to the head and have it so the hand and feet mesh go over the humanoid hand and footwear. Finally to make it look less human, they could just alter the size of the nodes on its skeleton, the only downside to this is that certain animations may look buggy, like sitting, falling down and emotes, but it would be worth putting up with that shit for a few years until they get all the bugs out. Or at the very least just add an Ithorian or Wookiee mask to the armor choices.
Or hell if you really want something with a unique head but hot chicks which is identical to humans in every way except hands, then go with Rodians. But that still might not happen because according to the gayass forums, the main reason they don't do less humanoid aliens is because the romance/kissing scenes would look awkward. To hell with that shit. Just remove the option for non-humanoids or introduce a new non-humanoid romantic partner. Besides, the romances in the game are shit and gay.

Juggernauts are too damn strong imo. Agent does have the best DPS and the best storyline but I feel that sith warrior is more versatile. Also Warrior has the best companions, except for that shitty jedi apprentice you're stuck with who either stays a naive wench who never learns anything or a the edgiest tryhard sithcunt imaginable who also doesn't learn anything. It would be nice if her personality wasn't just 2 sided and her overall outlook and behavior could be decided on your dialogue choices and more. That would easily make her one of the most unique companions in the game.

this
I had the most fun with my Marauder, which was my first time playing, but Assassin was a close second. I just wish Assassin got more Force powers rather than being mostly lightsaber focused.

Has anyone actually played as a nautolan yet? Can anyone post pics of the few wearable helmets they can use?

Nautolan's are coming out in September with the expansion so there is no way to play them yet.

The Imperial Agent storyline is unironically one of the best Star Wars videogame plotlines I've ever experienced. It's an unknown gem locked inside a sinking ship. You should play through it at least once before the whole thing goes under.

Nope. I just go to Satele which is supposedly the most "toxic" (meaning that there is less people sucking tranny cock and willing to admit Palpatine Hitler did nothing wrong). You don't know fun until you start discussing the (((Muun))) question seriously on Dromund Kaas while some guy is trying to RP as a Sith edgeLord.

What Server do you use now? I used to use Starforge and every damn minute of the last time I was there it was people arguing about slave girl costumes for dudes and spamming that Jakku should be a playable planet. Its just fucking Tatooine with a Star Destroyer on it ffs.

I use the Satele Shan. It was merged with one of the PVP servers and a few dead RP servers but the PVP base hated the faggoty RP groups so they bullied the fuck out of them until they left for less "toxic" places. I don't mind RP, but it's incredibly fucking cringy when you run around the fleet and you get your chat spammed by nonsense.
>Darth Edgemaster says: Bow to me apprentice, bask in my ultimate power…
<An'Sla'Ma'iki'na says: As you command, master.
Garbage like that is completely justifiable for bullying. Now the most you get is in-universe politics with arguments circa 1939.

So at the start F2P isn't too bad, but all the end game gearing is basically locked behind the subscriptions, fair warning. You can still see a lot of story content for free but if you want PVP, Operations, and the best gear then you'll need to pay. Your mileage may vary but since I join a guild I really find the subscription worth it.

Is there a mod to fix the dialog wheels? Every option you can pick is mislabeled. You pick "Hey go fuck yourself" and it thinks you mean "Hey, come back to my hotel room and lets fuck". Every fucking time I pick a dialog option I'm reading it vastly different to what the game is trying to say. I fucking hate that shit in bioware games and it's spoiling any story missions I'm doing. The jail cells were especially bad because it let me fuck over people I intended to help. If I was trying to fuck someone over I would be less effective than this dialog wheel is.
I'm also getting tired of the MMO grind with Sith warrior. I don't recall it being this bad when I played at launch as a Jedi something or other or a trooper 2 years ago. I wasn't running back and forth to the exact same area because some nigger wanted me to do fetch quests
