Electric vehicles only use one gear transmissions and are more energy efficient than gasoline cars. Isn't it true that you could use a smaller electric motor if you use multiple gears? That would be more energy efficient, right? Use a small motor geared way up. Wouldn't this help reduce demand on the grid and also provide more incentive for people to switch? Is this correct? You can see they know this is better but are fucking the public while making economic destruction over energy economics squabbling on purpose.
