Long story..
I have a friend (keep advised that she lives in a state that weed is fully legal).
She accidentally smoked weed and got high with her 15 yo step son at the time. She thought that he was talking (confiding in her)about a vape pen for nicotine and she smoked it in the moment saying look oh wow smoke wow ugly flavor. Like trying to dis the experience. But once she did he said are you high yet..shoked yet She was relieved it wasn't toxic nicotine and in the moment to not scare him away cus just weeks earlier he had taken his step dad's gun and shot his leg cus he was going to go to his gf house whose dad forbid them to date. She decided to just be in the moment so he could finish opening up to her about his feelings. They had an amazing talk about girls feelings anger ect and that was that. Now a year later 16 him in a much better mental state he asked if she wanted to smoke and talk. So she did but is feeling bad even though it's not uncommon. And she would perfer him to be comfortable to do it at the house and not have to feel like he has to sneak out in the night. Real dad doesn't know any of it he is dv and would totally flip this to get kids and press charges. His real mom and her are on good terms. He gets his weed vapes from his mom or step dad who work in weed companies. He doesn't really smoke with his mom but does with his step dad. And has a huntch they already know about the smoking. Only one clueless is dad.
She is just looking for others experience and thoughts on it all. she does smoke on her but is secret and Noone knows.
