Over the course of the past few days I have been evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of our once so wonderful home that is 8chan dot co.
My report has given me a rather bleak impression about the current state of affairs and I see no rosy future for this formerly so glorious website.
So allow me to have some minutes of your precious time to formulate all my findings.
During the past few days I tried various types of posting to generate more traffic; of course all in correspondence with the "General Theory on Posting, Content and PPH" as postulated by the great Sir Poopalot Lurker in the summer of 2006. The general theory goes something like that:
>traction produces more traction
>so to gain PPH
>one has to generate PPH
>therefore, more postings will generate more interest, postings and more visitors
details don't matter, you know what I mean.
However, the theory once again proved to be utter nonsense and no type of intervention from my sides has brought any significant appreciation of this website as an asset, nor an enlargement of its user base or uptick in its quality content.
I can't help but notice that, to my deepest regret, all rumors regarding 8chan and its transition from a once so cheerful and lulzy internet community into a Fuhrerbunker for the most mentally distorted elements of the boomer demographic, has been fully completed.
While the forum for the politically incorrect discussions never has been that much welcoming to any form of thought that goes against the stormfag mentality, at least there were a bunch of reasonable users who tried to guide the fashfag sheeple into the libertarian meadows of enlightenment. I admit that such discussion is now easier on /pnd/, however there is much more reason to have a bleak outlook on that as well. While it is much simpler to talk about lolbergtarianism now, the people on the board have become true monstrosities.
There is at least one legit schizophrenic who speaks in tongues, there is one uber agro boomer who does not understand baneposting and takes everything in the literal sense and there is at least one guy who keeps posting boring negro-hedge links written by other schizos on the internet selling them as news. Then there seems to be an endless drama involving a bunch of internet personalitites which I know not of from the olden times. To speak clearly, everything has gone to shit.
You may wonder why I extensively discuss the pol situation.
Well, that is simply because that is the only board apart from the QBoomer boards, that gets any traction.
The other boards are pretty much all dead. The random board, once a shining beacon of creativity and entertainment, has also grinded to a halt.
The QBoomer meme has manifested itself into reality with the power of meme magick as it seems.
They have taken over 8chan and killed it by doing so. I hope Jimbo is happy now.
Our only option now is to return to cuckchan and be Hirohito Fuckushimas slaves on his plantation or opt out completely.
If this is the choice to take, I take the second.
