The self-modifying meme, name changing meme, or relevance meme, among other names, is a meme or meme complex whose name continually and purposefully changes by its community who posts it. Its names are usually self-explanatory. It is the meme most relevant to the most other parts of society of any cultural entity worldwide. Often considered the meme capital of the world, the meme complex has achieved a unique “super relevance”, whereby other memes compete for recognition through affiliation with it. The effect is considered comparable to the effects of Jonny Carson on celebrity relevance, Larry King on public relations, or Paris Hilton or the Kardashians on fame for being famous, but unlike those listed, the self-modifying meme complex it considered the first to successfully affect all aspects of society that was intentionally designed for such purpose, and with benevolent motivations.
