It's also EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to always remember that The Wechsler Scale does NOT measure "how much you know".......

but it DOES measure your ability to learn

And it's an averaged score....

an amalgam of scores from different kinds of tests

everyone will score lower or higher in different parts of the test, as we each have our own strong points and weak points.

I made up for my weak points by excelling in other areas, like the CONCEPTUALIZATION parts.

I know my scores, both from when I was 15 and when I was 28

I don't put very much weight in it.

I take both scores with a grain of salt.

I have always admitted that I "manipulated my score" at age 15 during the 'Red & White Cubes' section...

Instead of completing every pattern, on a few of them I only completed 1/4th of the pattern, and told the woman that if she repeated that section 3 more times, it would complete the finished pattern.

However......

I never tell people my scores....

also, most people don't realize that The Wechsler Scale was actually originally designedfor childrento measure their brain's individual ability to learn, and the criteria, while being somewhat questionable to begin with, shows a greater accuracy when the WISC is administered to children than when the WAIS is administered to adults.

I dropped out of school 1 year too early, according to Georgia Law at the time, but I was lucky because I had a principal in middle school who "pulled some strings" for me, somehow clearing the way for me to simply stop going to school.

I had illustrated my first magazine cover at age 12. It only took me about an hour or two to paint, but they paid me $3,600... so I started my own freelance graphic design, logo, mural & sign company in Atlanta, so I was already making more money than my principal...

He pulled me aside one day, and told me, "look, you're doing your own business. You're a gifted artist. School has nothing to offer you."

sounds great, huh?.....

well, even though I made about $5,000 a week doing art, and I did tons of art for celebrities, and I got hired as ZZ Top's Art Director at Warner Bros Recording Division.... I still managed to completely fuck my life up and burn tons of bridges and basically ruined a shitload of magical connections....

I am a total fuck up....

I'm a fucking loser......

but I had a LOT of fun......

and I'm actually a very happy person
