I dont understand the purpose of the 1st amendment anymore. What use is it that only congress can't restrict free speech when absolutely everything else does it? If congress said you couldn't say faggot nigger tomorrow it wouldnt matter or serve a purpose.

The first amendment needs to apply to corporations. In the same light that people make the argument that we don't need guns because it was created in poor foresight of our current condition, we need to restructure the first amendment protections to protect us from corporate censorship. There was, at no time, any comprehension as to the depth and power that corporations have now which exceeds the functions of government. In the spirit of the law which was to restrict huge bodies that act as governments, as corporations do now, they must be regulated by our constitution because they are now a threat to our way of life and our people.
