Currently in the progress of completing GTA SA for what is probably the hundredth time at this point. Every time I play that absolute masterpiece I discover another tiny detail that absolutely blows my mind.
Just realized that if you throw a grenade, and the grenade gets shot at mid-air, it'll go in whatever direction the bullet is traveling. I know it seems like a pretty unimportant detail, but this is an almost 20 year old game we're talking about here.

New Vegas was awesome, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for fallout 3.
Back when I first played 3 it was a totally new experience to me, I'd never played anything like it before. Man, I wish I could go back to when gaming felt new and exciting. These days it's just sequel after sequel & remaster after remaster. No games have any new concept to offer anymore.

oh yes, I love everything to do with the Lion King, a great and original idea if ever there was one. I am going to name my first child Simba and my second child Louis Gosset Jr.

ah yes, I have walked down the alley of the Tango Lassi, where the women have scented oil on their penis and balls. They call me the Lion King there because I got run over by a herd of wild beats once. I still don't shit right.

Gaming used to be life, went from nes/snes , to pc and ps1/xbox 360 piracy scene
then MOH allied assault and battlefield 1942 got me deep into online pc gaming.(yeah there as a time when EA weren't scumlords and made solid games)
i've nolifed and competitive tryharded on plenty of fps games such as GMOD, H&G, ARMA 3
last decade i've been mostly frustrated at the industry whole sale. and can't stomach any aaa games and wokeness.
So been playing indies for the last decade.
Tried vr as early adopter and the games where tech demos , dropped coin on an index but it's now been gathering dust for the last year. And seeing facemerchant cornering the vr market makes me wanna vomit.
I'm pretty much done , might dl a few terabytes worth of offline games and keep them around for when i have an itch to scratch. But whatever hardware i have now is gonna have to last. Since i'm not dropping any money into gaming.

hardware upgrades give small performance increase, usually just the last particle effect. which are often bugged on launch anyway.
Just spend 500 every seven or 8 years and you can keep upgrading your box.
Did you ever try anyt VR design programs? I always wanted to designed with my fingers like in teh scifi movies. I know a mouse is more accurate but I would like to vr a 3d model and then print it.

I know that feeling Anon, got myself an Oculus Rift S before facemerchant revealed their master plan. I have been regretting the purchase ever since. Atleast HL: Alyx was the best game I played in years.
I have a feeling that the Quest will hold back VR gaming for years, like consoles have been doing.

I've been playing Diablo 2 a lot lately. Wish I had some bros to co-op it with but I don't like using battle.net.
