Some possibilities I imagine:
1) Eternal oblivion: This is the only chance you have to experience reality. After you die, your consciousness is destroyed alongside your physical body forever.
2) Reincarnation 2.0: Your consciousness is indestructible and always existed somewhere in the universe, but without a memory (so you can't remember anything). Some time after you die (this time can be anything from seconds to billions of years) your consciousness will find another body and you'll experience reality again, but without remembering anything. You may still carry with you traits or skills. Also, from your perspective you'll be conscious again as if 1 millisecond has passed no matter how long your consciousness takes to find a body to possess.
3) You become part of a conscious universe: You still exist in a conscious form, but you are now part of the universe. You don't see reality like humans do and you can't make physical interactions. You are everywhere and you are aware of other consciousness that exist on Earth and other parts of the universe.
4) Ghost 2.0: You become a floating conscious energy and your awareness is limited geographically. You can move around and go to different places, but you have no memory. But you exist nonetheless.
5) Reality is a simulation: Everything you know is just part of an advanced simulation and your real body is receiving that experiment. When you die, the experiment is over and you'll continue living your "real" life. Note: that life can also be part of another simulation.
6) Reality is a dream: Everything you are experiencing is just a dream by the real you. You cannot really die (like in a dream), and the real you will eventually wake up.
There are other theories I have, but I'll stop here because I'm curious to read about what you guys think. We will all die someday and experience this mystery, but I believe it's possible to guess the right answer.
