You can use them to catch a criminal that steals from you. You can use them to surveil a specific area without anyone knowing so they don't damage or steal the camera.

Cameras are anti-revolution. From 1985 to 2001 the prison system doubled, reminder that they are trying to build a prison. The cmaeras went up in the 1980s. Children, our humans treated like subhumans with no rights, behave when they feel watched. They did studies on this. Do you want autonomy through privacy or do you want to be a caged beast soon to have its spirit broken and enslaved? WIth privacy all but banned and the 9th amendment shat on super hard there's no telling how bad it is now that they banned privacy in 2001 and by 2007 everyone had a camera in their little pockets, tracking them all over the place so they can't be in control.
