Resistance2020 emerged as an idea and vision. Out of the will not to feel powerless anymore.
But why a new party? That was the question and the answer to it was easy to find. Unfortunately, our system is structured in such a way that we can only really participate in decisions as a party with a large number of members. Unfortunately, that's how it is in Germany.
Of course, like so many others, we could just start a community of interest or a group of like-minded people, but above all we would never be able to achieve what we want to achieve. I think the work of such groups is really valuable and good, but at the moment we have no choice but to go the way as a party.
In our view, there is not a single party that is really innovative and modern. The structures are often outdated and the members are only involved to a limited extent. But we are a hands-on party, which means if you want to say or suggest something - do it! Everyone has their voice. And not just to vote, but to speak.
I also know of no party that actually pursues a goal of humanity. That strives for a true democracy. It's mainly about power and money. Our vision, which I would like to share with you, is a real change in the system in which we can say after 10 years "The improvement came with the resistance 2020".
Unfortunately, you either need a lot of money or a very large party to "have a say". Since the variant with the money already shows us that decisions for this very reason often go completely against the wellbeing of all of us, I very much hope that we will find a lot of people who will help us to do something better.
And by doing better I mean that we are simply a role model! Role model for mindfulness, empathy, attention, respect and responsibility. We cannot expect exactly these things from others if we do not live them up ourselves. No one is better or worse than the other. With us, nobody has to be treated differently, we are like you.
We had enough politicians far from the normal population. We need people who are like you and me again. Down-to-earth and approachable, not over- but equal.
Since I have now been asked a few times that "Resistance2020" is so negatively affected, I would also like to go into this briefly. It is the resistance to the political dealings we are experiencing, the overriding of our basic laws and the use of power by our government. It's not the name that ultimately makes something better or worse, but the people behind it. We're doing something different now and you can do something different too!
Nothing can stop what is coming.
