Long time Mitch McConnell associate and unopposed 3rd term mayor of Bowling Green Kentucky, Bruce Wilkerson, was looking at a congressional bid in a few years until the state was forced to start cracking down on the rampant human trafficking that's been on the rise there. Last year the governor's election was too close for comfort so as a show of power, 2 major sex trafficking outfits were rounded up, one of which saw 11 arrests for child sex abuse and sale in the City of Bowling Green.
3 of those arrested had direct ties to mayor Wilkerson including 2 former staffers, and another is from a family with at least 1 known CIA operative.
This was all just window dressing until last night when police were called to a residence owned by Wilkerson after people heard a major altercation. What the media has reported was that police discovered a bruised Wilkerson cleaning a bloodstained basement where someone had clearly been living for some time. Scratches were found on the walls and ceilings showing clear signs of escape attempts, and though much of the cellar had been scrubbed, blood and feces were still noticeably present. Also inside were a bed that would have required assembly within the premise (hardly indicative of temporary residence), and a trash bag filled with women's clothes (mostly leggings and underwear) all of varying sizes, some of which was clearly children's clothing. Wilkerson's story holds that a young woman had just been living under his baseboards, unbeknownst to him for an unknown period until he happened to go down there (presumably for the first time in months) to investigate an undescribed electrical issue and discovered her.
Here is where his story starts to become quite hazy. Mayor Wilkerson states that the girl told him she was hiding from a person or people (conflicting reports indicate a changing story on his part) and had taken refuge there. Upon mention of the police, Wilkerson says, the woman either attacked him or simply knocked him over, bruising him in the process (more conflicting reporting). At this point the girl ran out of the basement with no belongings and leaving nothing behind.
This would mean that she had been living on his property for some time with no possessions (apart from bloodstained kids' underwear), no food, and no water without ever having left to procure necessary items. No neighbors have ever seen anyone but the mayor and his associates enter the building. None of the neighbors saw the girl escape despite the commotion, and at the time of writing this, no such girl has been found.
There are just too many questions here, and the mayor's responses have been inconsistent and contradictory. Please watch the videos of him denying keeping women in captivity as they are extremely creepy. More updates on his ties to known deep state actors will be coming down the pike shortly, but there are a lot of threads to pull and I am tired.
