Valid question. Not really important in the overall grand scheme of things, though.
1. If they knew, and the knew they could do nothing, they were prepared/had a plan.
2. USA's response was the quickest, and most efficient.
3. We've done more testing than any other nation; period.
4. If you thought "war" meant they'd have everything 100% controlled so that all people could be living in padded comfort, free from the possibility of becoming victims, you'd be kidding yourself.
On top of that, it's a perfect cover. Name someone that you know, personally, that has died of the coronavirus. OK, now that that's been established, think about it being the perfect cover to get Americans fighting for freedoms (peaceably assemble), doing their own research into medicine, and seeing these doctors lie lie lie.
David lied to the priests to steal showbread to feed his troops. Did that lie end up being a good thing, in the end? If, and that's a BIG IF.. If our gov't is going along with something because it provides the perfect cover to do many other things, or it expedites the timeline that had contingencies built in for just such an occasion, would you be OK with it?
Of course, Occam's razor? It's probably hard to get badly needed intel out of China. Theory crafting is fun, but there's always the possibility they knew "of" a plan, but couldn't pinpoint the where/when. I just keep thinking about all those folks in Iran's parliament that dropped like flies, and the Italian priests, right after this shit broke out. Also, how @POTUS keeps referring to "hot spots" in each state; like how they might be squashing trafficking networks where some are worse than they expected (Louisiana, for example), or some states much better off than expected. Allowing Govs to open back up on their own timelines, etc.

I personally know 6 people dead of the virus. So it is not a hoax, my opinion they designed it to kill the weak and elderly. A true culling. Why I believe this is because all that died had compromised health or in their 80’s.
