Witnesses, volunteers tell UK’s Sunday Times of seeing gang-rape, remains found mutilated. (WHAT?)

The investigation was hampered initially by the fact that physical evidence of sexual assault was broadly not collected on the day of the attacks due to complications posed by the evidence being located in an active warzone.

Rape kits, which need to be used in the first 48 hours following an assault, could not be used, and many of the bodies arriving at the emergency morgue set up at the Shura military base were so badly mutilated that collecting physical evidence of sexual assault, such as semen or DNA samples, was not possible.

Police spokesperson Mirit Ben Mayor said, however, that based on “the conditions of the bodies that came in, bodies in the field, by the stories people are telling, by the situation of the bodies that arrived for forensic checking at Shura, we say that there was rape, that there was sexual [assault]. There is no room for doubt about these events.”

Many of the women who experienced the sexual assault and rape firsthand, however, were either killed or taken hostage, and so cannot provide the firsthand information that some are demanding.

Western banking dominance will end – Putin

New technologies are threatening an archaic financial system, according to the Russian president

The Western financial system is becoming outdated because of new technologies and could lose its dominant global position in the near future, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

Addressing the VTB Investment Forum in Moscow, Putin pointed out that modern tech solutions, such as blockchain, are increasingly being used in international payments.

“According to experts, in the coming years this will lead to a real revolution that will finally undermine the monopoly of large Western banks,” Putin said, noting that some of those financial institutions are currently “not in the best condition.”

The Russian president added that the interbank messaging system SWIFT has been discredited because it cut off Russian banks and is being replaced by payments in national currencies.

Global economic relations are changing, and the previous model of globalization is being replaced by a multipolar model, according to Putin.

Speaker Mike Johnson Tables Move to Slip Deep State Reauthorization in Defense Bill

Mike Johnson (R-LA) has decided not to include an extension of FISA authority in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) a move that received strong bipartisan opposition.

Instead, the Judiciary Committee will consider a proposal to rein in the controversial surveillance law.

The proposed legislation, Protect Liberty and End Warrantless Surveillance Act (PLEWSA), aims to require warrants for Americans’ information sought under Section 702, limit FBI database searches, and set penalties for FISA violations.

Rep. Warren Davidson said, “Keeping FISA out of the NDAA is a victory for the American people who demand the end of warrantless government surveillance. I applaud Speaker Johnson’s decision to not cave to the Biden admin, Christopher Wray, and the entire intel community.”

Sen. Ron Wyden said, “We’re going the distance with reform.”

“Business as usual is not going to be acceptable,” he continued.

“When I started, it was pretty lonely. You could have meetings about 702 reform operations in a couple of phone booths. And I’m looking around now and I’m seeing a lot of allies,” said Wyden.

Bipartisan support exists for the bill, with lawmakers emphasizing the need to protect civil liberties and privacy rights.

Rep. Andy Biggs released a statement, saying, “America’s intelligence community continues to conduct a warrantless, mass surveillance campaign on innocent citizens.”

“In 2021 alone, the FBI misused FISA 278,000 times to spy on American citizens – including a U.S. congressman and political donors. Our civil liberties are at stake,” recalled the GOP rep.

“Without serious reforms to FISA 702, our Fourth Amendment rights will be all but gone. My legislation addresses numerous loopholes in federal law to end this unconstitutional practice and to ensure rogue agents are held accountable,” warned Biggs.

“I am grateful for the bipartisan, bicameral effort to overhaul the FISA 702 spying authority. I call on my colleagues to pass this legislation into law,” concluded the lawmaker.

Suspicious Israeli Stock Market Activity Hints At Foreknowledge Of October Seven Attack

An analysis of financial trends inside Israel days prior to the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood seemingly indicate insider trading in an attempt to profit from the attack.

A new academic study has made a shocking and highly controversial finding. Suspicious Israeli stock market activity in the days preceding Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 indicates that a particular party had foreknowledge of the impending attack and used that information to directly profit from the panic that ensued.

The paper, authored by Robert J. Jackson Jr. of New York University School of Law and Joshua Mitts of New York University School of Law, concludes that based on a “significant spike” in short selling of listed Israeli companies, persons unknown were aware of the operation was impending, and sought to profit illicitly. Short selling – or shorting – allows traders to bet a stock will perform poorly and reap rewards if they’re correct.

Shorting is a relatively rare practice compared to traditional trading and with good reason. Losses can be vast if forecast poor performance doesn’t materialize, and many investment advisors warn against engaging in the practice under any circumstances. Strikingly though, the academics found shorting of Israeli companies in days immediately before October 7 “far exceeded short selling that occurred during numerous other periods of crisis, including the recession following the financial crisis, the 2014 Israel-Gaza war, and the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The pair argue this activity may reflect attempts by Hamas operatives to profit from, if not outright finance, their forthcoming attack, an allegation eagerly taken up by Hebrew newspaper Haaretz. Meanwhile, Israeli finance rag Globes attacked the study, claiming “huge errors” by its authors in overestimating the profits of individuals who shorted Israeli stocks. The pair mistakenly quoted returns in agorot, a denomination of Israeli currency, as shekels – in pennies as dollars in U.S. terms – leading them to inflate investor returns by a magnitude of 100.

Yet, the outlet acknowledged a “consistent rise in short trading balances on [Israeli] shares prior to the outbreak of the war.” Moreover, the Israeli government has taken the paper’s findings so seriously that an official investigation has been launched to ascertain the truth. As we shall see, there is good reason to believe that if someone sought to enrich themselves due to foreknowledge of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, it is unlikely they were connected to Hamas.

The paper notes numerous historical precedents for such activity, which “occurs in gaps in U.S. and international enforcement of legal prohibitions on informed trading.” Research on “profitable trading on the basis of information about coming military conflict” is an underdeveloped academic field. Such lack of oversight and scrutiny around shorting by Western regulators and watchdogs may explain who profited this time and why.

EU state expels US embassy staff – El Pais

The decision followed allegations the personnel bribed host country intel agents, the newspaper has said

At least two employees at the US embassy in Madrid have been quietly expelled from Spain on suspicion of recruiting agents from the country’s National Intelligence Center (CNI) to obtain highly classified information, El Pais reported on Thursday, citing government sources.

According to the newspaper, two Spanish intelligence officers were arrested two months ago after an internal inspection revealed that they had gained access to classified information that was not required for their work and which they had no right to know.

The investigation found thatat least one of them had been bribed by US agents. The incident has not been made public as a Spanish court has ordered the case kept secret.

US agents are believed to have begun recruiting the officers more than a year ago, El Espanol reported.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles summoned the US ambassador in Madrid, Julissa Reynoso, and asked for an explanation. The diplomat said she was unaware of what had happened, apologized and promised to cooperate with the investigation as much as possible, according to El Pais.

The Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs agreed on the discreet expulsion of at least two US staff involved in the recruitment and bribery of CNI agents, as Washington hastened to withdraw them, the article reported.

“The recruitment of secret agents of the host state to betray their own country is considered an openly hostile action,” the newspaper detailed, noting that the occasions when Spain refuses to share information of interest to Washington “are counted between one and none” and it is unclear why the US had to pay when they “get everything they ask for.”

This is not the first time the US has been suspected of spying on its allies. In 2013, an international scandal erupted after former US intelligence contractor Edward Snowden leaked information about Washington’s eavesdropping on former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Two years ago, Reuters reported that in addition to tapping Merkel’s phone, the US National Security Agency (NSA) had allegedly spied on senior officials in Sweden, Norway, France and Germany using Danish information cables.

Canada Reports 135% Spike in Deaths from ‘Unspecified Causes’

New Canadian government data has revealed the nation has suffered a staggering 135% spike in listed as “unspecified causes.”

Statistics Canada, an agency of the Canadian government, has just published a new report revealing that the nation smashed records for deaths in 2022.

Aside from soaring numbers of Canadians dying from “unspecified causes,” the nation recorded a record number of Covid deaths, despite high vaccination uptake and the pandemic being over.

A report released by Statistics Canada last week admitted that deaths due to COVID-19 in Canada rose by 36% last year.

According to the government, Covid caused 19,716 deaths in total.

However, deaths due to “Other ill-defined and unspecified causes of mortality” rose by a shocking 135% from 2020 to 2022.

Statistics Canada blames the increase in Covid deaths on the relaxing of the tyrannical mandates, masking, and lockdowns.

The government agency also argues the “new highly transmissible COVID-19 variants” are causing deaths to spike.

Additionally, the report reveals that Canadian life expectancy dropped for the third year in a row.

The falling life expectancy trend coincidentally started in 2020.

Laos deports 462 Chinese nationals with alleged ties to Bokeo scam rings

Authorities in Laos have deported 462 Chinese nationals arrested for crimes, including human trafficking, from the lawless Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone in the country’s north that has been described as a de-facto Chinese colony, according to officials.

They were arrested on Nov. 28 during a raid on the gambling and tourism hub in Laos’ Bokeo province and deported to China the following day via the Boten-Bohan International Border Checkpoint, said a statement posted on the website of the Lao Public Security Bureau.

The individuals appeared to be involved with call centers where scammers try to trick people into fake investments. Radio Free Asia has reported that these call centers often exploit their employees by holding them against their will and subjecting them to beatings and other forms of torture if they refuse to work or fail to make scam quotas.

Attempts by RFA Lao to contact the Bokeo Provincial Police and authorities operating within the special economic zone, or SEZ, for comment went unanswered by the time of publication.

The latest round of arrests and deportations of Chinese nationals follows one in mid-September, when Lao authorities sent 164 home, including 46 who were arrested in the Bokeo SEZ, another economic zone in the province operated by a Chinese tycoon who the U.S. government has sanctioned for running a human trafficking network.

Ordinary Laotians welcomed the news, saying it would make the country safer.

“It’s good that the Lao and Chinese authorities are cooperating again in cracking down on the scamming gang in Laos,” said one person who, like others interviewed for this report, spoke on condition of anonymity citing security concerns. “I hope that the number of Chinese scammers continues to dwindle in the Golden Triangle SEZ and throughout the country.”

But others expressed concern that the deportations won’t address the reasons such crimes persist in Laos.

“My question is, ‘Is this all?’ My answer is, ‘No,’ said a resident of the capital Vientiane. “It’s going to take a lot of time and effort to nab all of them.”

Regional cooperation needed

The resident of Vientiane said that while the latest arrests may deal with the problem in the Golden Triangle SEZ, scam gangs may simply move to another place where they can operate without much oversight by authorities, such as Tachileik, a town in Myanmar’s Shan state along the Lao border.

“Then [the deportees] will just come back to Laos again,” he said.

A third Laotian suggested that the only way to effectively eradicate scamming networks is through the cooperation of domestic and foreign security forces across the region, rather than each country individually.

“Here in Laos, [Lao and Chinese forces] are focusing only on the [SEZs],” he said. “The scam rings are everywhere and many of them are still operating. Laos alone doesn’t have the resources to do it all.”

Criminal enterprises expanding

Meanwhile, Yos Santasombat, a professor of social studies at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, warned that as criminal activity goes largely unchecked within the SEZs in Bokeo province, gangs are expanding their existing operations and adding new services.

“I went to the Golden Triangle SEZ two months ago and I noticed that the place was huge and expanding,” he said. “[As it grows] it might attract other businesses besides gambling and tourism, such as money laundering.”

Sources from the region have previously expressed concern that authorities only arrest “the small guys” who aren’t responsible for running the scam rings, and have failed to address unemployment and inflation in Laos, which allow ringleaders to lure workers with offers of good-paying jobs.

In early September, Myanmar police repatriated 1,207 Chinese criminals arrested from a call center in Myanmar. Thailand, Myanmar, China and Laos have set up a special unit to crack down on human trafficking, but the problem still persists.

World Health Organization Calls For Huge Global Tax Increases On Alcohol, Soda

The World Health Organization is advising the government to use taxes to take your freedoms away.

In a Tuesday news release, WHO called for huge global tax increases on alcohol and sugary drinks, suggesting that increasing the price of these beverages by a whopping 50 percent would create healthier societies.

Sounds just ducky, right?

Citing a 2017 study, WHO claimed that its recommended tax increases would “help avert over 21 million deaths over 50 years and generate nearly US$17 trillion in additional revenues. This is equivalent to the total government revenue of eight of the world’s largest economies in one year.”

And there you have the real concern — $17 trillion in new revenue.

As far as WHO is concerned, people are merely statistical pawns who can be manipulated to generate tax dollars. With this in mind, they won’t stop with alcohol and soda.

They’ll weaponize the concept of health to give governments more money and power and individuals less freedom.

Dr. Rüdiger Krech, WHO’s director of health promotion, said, “Taxing unhealthy products creates healthier populations. It has a positive ripple effect across society — less disease and debilitation and revenue for governments to provide public services. In the case of alcohol, taxes also help prevent violence and road traffic injuries.”

What a pretty utopian picture Krech paints. Let’s see. What else can be taxed to “protect” your health? Meat? Gasoline-powered vehicles? Guns? Everything?

What WHO is proposing, in effect, is outlawing alcohol and soda for the poor. If you’re rich enough, you can drink yourself into oblivion. If not, screw you.

I don’t know about you, but where I’m from a six-pack of beer is already too expensive. Tax it much more and I’m either going to have to quit drinking beer, make it myself, or find someone who can sell it cheaper.

The last time they tried to outlaw alcohol — remember Prohibition? — bootleggers got rich and crime flourished. The same thing will happen when freedom is a matter of wealth and not a God-given right.

Are we there yet?

WHO is a puppet of the World Economic Forum and the Chinese. They all want to play God by abolishing your God-given rights.

The problem is we live in a broken world. Curbing individual freedoms won’t fix it. Only God through Jesus Christ can do that.

Russia ‘hacked’ British politicians and journalists, minister claims

Moscow has dismissed similar allegations as “baseless” and “evidence free”

Russian spies have run a “cyber interference”campaign on British politicians, civil servants, and journalists for almost a decade, a minister in the UK Foreign Office has claimed. The minister did not provide evidence, and Moscow has denied similar allegations in the past.

In an address to parliament on Thursday, MP Leo Docherty claimed that a group of hackers “almost certainly” affiliated with Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) have “selectively leaked and amplified information”since 2015. The hackers obtained this information by impersonating the contacts of their targets and sending them malicious links by email, Docherty alleged.

Docherty said that two Russians supposedly responsible for the 2018 hack and release of documents from the Institute for Statecraft – a think tank linked to British intelligence – were affiliated with the FSB, and would be sanctioned in response. Docherty added that the Russian ambassador had been summoned to be informed of the sanctions.

The 2018 hack revealed that the British government funded a network of pro-Western “influencers” across Europe, ran a domestic smear campaign against then-Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn, and interfered in elections in the Balkans, among other activities.

At the time, a group affiliated with the ‘Anonymous’ hacktivist collective claimed responsibility for the breach. Britain’s National Crime Agency investigated the hack and found no “forensic proof” of Russian involvement.

In his address on Thursday, Docherty also accused two units within the FSB of hacking the private conversations of politicians from the Labour and Conservative parties since 2015, and releasing the details of UK-US trade negotiations ahead of the 2019 general election.

“They have targeted members of this House and the [House of Lords],” Docherty declared. “They have been targeting civil servants, journalists, and NGOs. They have been targeting high-profile individuals and entities with a clear intent – using information they obtain to meddle in British politics.”

Docherty’s claims echo those found in a 2020 parliamentary report that accused Russia of waging “influence campaigns” targeting the 2014 Scottish independence referendum and the 2016 Brexit referendum. However, the report’s authors concluded that they had found no hard evidence of interference in the Brexit vote, having received “just six lines of text” as evidence from the UK’s domestic spy agency, MI5.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova dismissed the 2020 report as “nothing sensational,” while Kremlin spokesman =•Dmitry Peskov wrote it off as “just a new round of evidence-free allegations.”== Russia has consistently denied accusations of interference in Western politics, most famously during the ‘Russiagate’ investigation of then-President Donald Trump in the US.
