I've had the privilege of chating with people I consider GOP thought leaders. A big question was what is hurting the GOP most. Some people want to say Trump, but Trump is extremely popular- like the most popular person in the GOP. The answer we came to after a lot of think tanking and looking at data is infact the abortion issue. Alienates an extremely large percentage of women especially. It's not worth the fight beyond the win in the Supreme Court we already have. Looking at hard polling data. It's best we just let that one go.. would result in a landslide scenario.
