As you see, action was taken. The post was deleted and the poster permabanned - because the image he used was before Greta was an adult.

But tbh, this was not an easy determination. You wanted immediate action but we could not oblige before trying to sort out the legalities involved.

For more, see below.

Generally:

Everything seemed to hinge on when the photo of Greta was taken: whether before or after she was 18. If after 18, it would not have been considered CP. Might have been deleted, based on board rules re borderline CP (pron of youths means to look childish). But that's a judgment call. More likely would have been seen as just one of many nasty, tasteless depictions of people anons do not like because of what they doing to support the DS. (Many anons scoffed at the idea this was CP, despite the fact that obvious CP is always reported by multiple posters.)

I arrived shortly after you posted and was asking why you objected because to me, looked like a recent photo - and she is an adult now. Yes, it was a pretty nasty post, completely tasteless, but we get a lot of those - with faces of HRC, Pelosi and others grafted onto other bodies. They are meant to mock and demean. Although I don't like posts like these, there is no legal requirement to remove them, as long as they depict only adults.

The Greta image was not hardcore pron, just offensive. Anons can filter offensive content. Would only be deleted for sure if it was clearly meant to look like a child; would only be treated as CP if proven that it actually depicted a child.

A BV later surveying the investigation removed just the image on the basis that it looked somewhat childish (or suggested children because Greta is always portrayed as child-like, even after reaching adulthood). The whole post and all posts by that anon in the thread were later removed when an anon tracked the photo down to 2019, when Greta was 17, not 18.

Why wasn't that you? If you have provided that evidence, that would have helped. It would not have ensured immediate removal, though, because we still had to check on the law, since Greta's now an adult. We are not lawyers but do what we can to determine what is legal and what is not.

Re how we treat CP:

When we do find CP, there is no legal requirement to remove it as though it is an emergency. We usually DO do remove it immediately, when it's obvious - like the Pedo Bear posts or the newer ones with pics of little girls in skimpy outfits with a link. As soon as these are spotted, they are removed and the poster permabanned. Of course, it is a bot and comes back again with a new IP. We do what we can to keep the board clean.

If it's not bot spam CP, we need to take a closer look before acting. Because it means deciding whether or not to permanently ban an anon from the board. Yes, they can also come back, but it's a big deal to be banned like that. Especially if the person thinks, "this is ok because she's an adult now." To be honest, that's probably the case - some stupid anon angry at Greta because of the tactics she uses, so he decides to mock her as a tool of the DS. Bad choice, missed the mark.

Re BVs "refusing" to remove:

I did not see where you directly asked any BV to remove the Greta image - did you use Global or local reports? If so, might have been dismissed, because of BVs assuming she is an adult now and knowing you have the option to filter.

Re being held accountable :

We are all accountable for our actions. That is why we abide by all site rules and also have board rules regarding what can and can't be posted. Most material CAN be posted, even offensive material, as long as it's legal and not obviously intended to attack the board or individuals who post there.

When it's a borderline case, as with the shopped Greta image, don't expect immediate removal if we have to look up the law and try our best to abide by it. Sorry you thought there was no interest on the part of admins. We are all volunteers and do our best to maintain the board. But we aren't lawyers, just ordinary people trying to be as fair as possible to evaluate all sides in a dispute.

If you don't like something report it here - or by email. Email is often more direct because I can see when new mail arrives and check it often. if it's a threat of violence with imminent consequences, that IS an emergency and we will immediately report it to the FBI.

No I purposefully did not save or screen shot the CP image as that would be breaching the law in regards to downloading CP.

The image concerned was shopped to include adult porn. It was of Greta at a young age in a train carriage,eating.

A nude animated woman was added to the image which turned the original innocent image into CP related.

I am so disappointed that my 2 requests in the tnread were actually deleted when I asked for the CP tier image to be deleted.

First impression is that some of your posts look like others often associated with shills (ones that are long, with red text, spread out & somewhat hard to follow). Shills often post like this, to take up space. Just advised another anon to try to be more succinct. Also helps to state the main idea, dig name or question asked at the top so post doesn't look like miscellaneous rambling.

What i do know is that BV was real busy when he arrived, crossed paths with him before leaving. I baked 78, warned BV about heavy shilling during gy shift. It continued: #24578 had 915 posts before deletions. This includes CP, repeated personal attacks on baker-BV from 51 post spammer, plus muh joos and other stuff. That means that baker was trying to catch up on notables while also dealing with shills at the same time, was the only BV there. Would also have been dealing with something anons cannot see - fake Global Reports for CP. There's a shill who reports CP for ordinary posts, these reports must each be dismissed, one at a time.

Tx for posting here. BVs don't intentionally delete anon posts but could make a mistake. Hard to know for sure. Hard to track every action, I usually can't when things are moving fast.

Some of them post 80-100+ posts per bread, which are often taken out in batches of 20 or 30 at a time, not all at once. You have to understand this is a MAJOR ISSUE, and I'm not the only anon who has a MAJOR PROBLEM with it.

The Ship

Q Research is a WAR SHIP, the finest of it's kind, with a destination for truth in the midst of a 5th gen. WAR.

Q and anons are the soldiers en-route, setting the course of the journey, via memes and digs.

The closest thing we have to a captain and crew are Jim and the BO/BVs.

BAKERS are anons who keep the WAR MAP updated.

And each bread is a page in the log.

Shills, Fuel and Integrity

Did I mention we're sailing through a swamp?

This is obviously self explanatory, but shills are the muck.

(In some cases literal floating logs of shit in the way of our destinations)

Fortunately though, we have a sturdy hull, made of the finest materials on Earth.

But it has integrity, and sometimes the swamp gets choppy, which calls for corrections in course.

In some cases this leads to the ship expending excess fuel and time to avoid damage and catastrophe.

And this is where BV and BO sometimes need to step in, to make repairs… but what are we using for fuel?

The Issue

The issue stems from the fact we've been on this journey a very long time, and for all we know it may never end.

But anyway, this mission is going to require a lot of fuel to get there and a lot of energy from anons.

To continue with this allegory, the fuel that keeps this mission going is MEMES AND SHITPOSTS.

Our ship has a zero-point energy motor, fine, but useless without happy anons aboard.

And anons are living organisms who require their own fuel sources, some are picky.

I won't get into allergies, but basic MREs wont cut it for everybody.

SOME of us, like me, depend on MEME fish caught in the swamp.

This brings us to the finer details of our issue here.

These allegorical memefish come in all shapes and sizes.

But in terms of our issue, let's move on to the metaphor of meme seagulls, or memegulls if you will.

Seagulls, AKA flying rats, can be a tasty treat in a survival situation, or even an alternative for memefish.

And not to go overboard on the meme-allegory (pun intended) but let's consider the shittiest memegulls 'merchant memes'

Certain dedicated members of our crew have been tasked with shooting these stupid memegulls out of the sky.

Everyone nose, I mean knows that memegulls can be problematic, some might even be FBI drones.

But as a sailor with a refined pallet for shitposting, some of them are a savory dinner.
