E. Jean Carroll Admits She Helped New York Dems Change Law So She Could Sue Trump

E. Jean Carroll, the woman who accused former President Donald Trump of rape, assault and defamation, said Wednesday she helped New York Democrats change a state law so she could sue.

State Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the Adult Survivors Act into law in 2022. The legislation allowed a “one-year lookback window for survivors of sexual assault” to sue their alleged abuser “regardless of when the abuse occurred.”

Trump was found liable Tuesday for defamation and battery but not rape in the case, with Carroll to be awarded a total of $5 million in damages.

“The fact that New York passed this law, the Adult Survivors Act,” CNN’s Poppy Harlow said. “They passed it just a few years ago. Were it not for that law, you never would have been able to bring this case.”

“Exactly. This would never – I would never have this window, this year of having the ability to bring a lawsuit for rape. Robbie can explain it better,” Carroll responded.

“E. Jean actually helped to get that law passed,” Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, said. “It passed last year. We filed – it was Thanksgiving Day, the first day you could sue. We filed it just after midnight on Thanksgiving. And there are a lot of other women throughout the state and, hopefully, throughout this country, that they will get other laws like this passed in other states. And New York women should use this law while it’s still around, which is until next Thanksgiving.”

“Yeah, because there’s a reason women stay silent. They’re ashamed and they’re frightened and they’re worried … this law gives us that one-year window. It’s a brilliant law,” Carroll chimed in.

Carroll alleged in 2019 that Trump raped her in either 1995 or 1996 in a dressing room at Manhattan’s Bergdorf Goodman. She sued the former president after he denied even knowing her. Trump labeled Carroll’s accusations a “hoax and a lie” during his deposition.

Hunter Biden's Rosemont Seneca financed a company that partnered with Peter Daszak, Shi Zhengli and the Wuhan lab.

Hunter Biden, Joe Biden's son, and Christopher Heinz, John Kerry stepson, formed Rosemont Seneca Partners, a private equity firm in 2009 with their friend, Devon Archer. The three friends established a series of related LLCs.[1] It was anchored to Rosemont Capital, the alternative investment fund of the Heinz family fortune.[2] The fund grew quickly. According to an email revealed as part of a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation, Rosemont described themselves as “a $2.4 billion private equity firm co-owned by Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz,” with Devon Archer as “Managing Partner.”

Archer was convicted in Manhattan Federal Court for the fraudulent issuance and sale of more than $60 Million of tribal bonds.[3]

Five months into the Obama administration in June 2009 Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair John Kerry formed Rosemount Seneca. The firm partnered with the Thornton Group run by James Bulger,[4] and the Bank of China, to form Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) in China. Devon Archer is a longtime friend of former Secretary of State John Kerry and of stepson Chris Heinz and James Bulger, the nephew of notorious Boston gangster Whitey Bulger.[5]

The Bank of China is owned by the Chinese government and closely connected with the Chinese military and intelligence services. Biden, Heinz, and Archer transferred and sold "duel use" technology to the Chinese military which was used to create the Chinese drone program and replicate the Chinese version of the F-15 fighter.[6]

Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) invested in an app the Chinese leftwing communist government is using to surveil ethnic minority Muslims in western China. Over one million Muslims living in the region are now incarcerated in Chinese gulags.

Hunter Biden is partnered with the Chinese state. Biden's entire investment partnership uses Chinese state money from its social security fund to the China Development Bank. The partnership, Bohai Harvest RST, is actually a subsidiary of the Bank of China.

Though the entire size of the fund cannot be reconstructed, a co-founder who is now detained in China, reports that Bohai Harvest RST is not the $1–1.5 billion reported, but rather $6.5 billion. Hunter's stake, as of 2020, is worth at least $50 million if he were to sell it.

All players on the Chinese side of the partnership are linked with influence and intelligence organizations. China uses very innocuous sounding organization names to mask PLA, United Front, or the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs influence/intelligence operations. Hunter was the target of an operation to compromise him and his father.

The operational mastermind behind the efforts to compromise the Biden family is a man named Yang Jiechi. He is currently the CCP Director of Foreign Affairs leading strategist on America, a Politburo member, one of the most powerful men in China, and Xi Jinping confidant. As Chinese ambassador to the United States when Biden chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he met regularly with Senator Biden. Later he was Minister of Foreign Affairs when the Bohai Harvest RST investment partnership was made official in 2013.

Yang Jiechi is the point person in China for dealing with the United States. This raises major national Security concerns about a Biden administration dealing impartially with an individual in this capacity. These are documented facts from Chinese corporate records such as IPO prospectuses and media, and raise very valid concerns about Biden linkages to China.[7]

CEFC China Energy had assets of $263 billion in 2015. Its chairman, Ye Jianming, was arrested by the CCP in February 2018 and has never been heard from since. An associate of Ye, Patrick Ho, was arrested in New York for bribing UN and African officials. Hunter Biden was paid $1 million to represent Ho.

House Hawks Urge Biden to Use Sanctions to Prevent Syria Normalization

The US is against Syria's readmission into the Arab League

The top Republican and Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee released a statement on Monday slamming Syria’s readmission into the Arab League and urging President Biden to use sanctions to prevent further normalization.

“Readmitting Assad to the Arab League is a grave strategic mistake that will embolden Assad, Russia, and Iran to continue butchering civilians and destabilizing the Middle East,” Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) and Gregory Meeks (D-NY) said.

“The United States must fully enforce the Caesar Act and other sanctions to freeze normalization efforts with this war criminal,” the lawmakers added.

The Caesar Act imposed crushing economic sanctions on Syria in 2020 that are specifically designed to prevent the country’s reconstruction. The measures have had a devastating impact on Syria’s civilians. The House recently voted overwhelmingly to keep enforcing sanctions following a devastating earthquake that killed thousands of Syrians.

What makes the Caesar Act sanctions so sweeping is that they allow the US to sanction any person or entity for doing business with the Syrian government. This means US allies like Saudi Arabia and Jordan, which spearheaded the effort to bring Syria back into the fold, could potentially be targeted. On Tuesday, Syria and Saudi Arabia announced they were reestablishing diplomatic ties for the first time in over 10 years.

The State Department has denounced Syria’s readmission to the Arab League. “We do not believe that Syria merits readmission to the Arab League at this time,” State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said on Monday. “We continue to believe that we will not normalize our relations with the Assad regime, and we don’t support our allies and partners doing so either.”

On top of the crippling sanctions, the US has about 900 troops in eastern Syria and backs the Kurdish-led SDF, allowing the US to control about one-third of the country, where most of its oil resources are located. Syria’s normalization with its neighbors could complicate the US’s plans to keep occupying the country.

British ministers to advance UK anti-BDS Bill to prevent boycotts against Israel

British Secretary of State, Michael Gove, is due to push forward the UK Government's long-anticipated plan to ban the global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) to prevent further boycotts against Israel, reported The Financial Times.

The British politician is attempting to curtail the freedom of public bodies from adopting "their own foreign policy" and expressed concern at how councils are financially supporting boycotts and divestment campaigns against foreign countries in the Middle East.

The BDS and Sanctions Bill follows a 2019 Conservative Party manifesto commitment to preventing local authorities from "adopting their own approach to international relations" – a move that pro-Palestine activists say is in place to help businesses profiting from apartheid Israel.

Moreover, according to officials, Gove and ministers, including British MP Oliver Dowden, are determined to implement the Bill before the next election. "We are firmly opposed to local boycotts which can damage integration and community cohesion, hinder exports and harm our economic security," said the communities department.

The Biden-Harris 2024 reelection campaign on Wednesday announced its national advisory board, which will be chaired by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and include, among others, Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Cory Booker (D-N.J.).

The board comprises 50 Democrats, and they are expected to act as surrogates for the campaign, fundraise and traverse the country to boost President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Scientists are urging doctors to suggest lifestyle changes instead of medication

Millions of antidepressants are being dished out for chronic pain each year despite little evidence they work, a major scientific review has found.

An investigation into medications to manage long-term pain found that the harms of many of the commonly recommended drugs are poorly researched.

Yet around 10million prescriptions for drugs including amitriptyline and fluoxetine, more commonly known as Prozac, were dished out in the last 12 months for long-term pain management.

Scientists said there was a 'shocking' lack of evidence around the long-term effects of taking antidepressants, leaving hundreds of thousands of people at significant risk of harm.

They urged doctors to prioritise medications for which there is some evidence of effectiveness and to focus on more 'holistic' therapies – such as lifestyle changes.

With around one in three people suffering from chronic pain, antidepressant use is increasing as doctors seek to alleviate symptoms without using potentially addictive opioids.

Other medications such as paracetamol and ibuprofen are now deemed both ineffective and potentially damaging, leaving GPs with limited options.

The two-year Cochrane study was the largest ever assessment of antidepressants recommended by leading bodies including the UK's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

The 'gold standard' review looked at 176 studies involving almost 30,000 people and 89 treatment types ranging from various types of antidepressants to psychological therapies and physiotherapy.

Despite commonly being prescribed for six months, the Cochrane review found the average trial length was just 10 weeks.

It found there was 'insufficient evidence' to determine either how effective or harmful most antidepressants are, with scientists particularly concerned over the lack of research into long-term use.

Duloxetine was consistently the highest-scoring for relieving pain and found to be equally effective for fibromyalgia, and musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain conditions, which are eligible for the drugs under NICE guidelines.

For more than twenty years, the FBI has monitored Snake and other malware programs, eventually creating the means to decrypt and decode communications involving Snake.

The FSB Turla unit, according to court records unsealed on Tuesday, operated the Snake robot out of a known FSB base in the Russian city of Ryazan to carry out everyday espionage activities.

In order to maintain its status as “Turla’s most sophisticated long-term cyberespionage malware implant,” the unit has modified and changed the virus on multiple occasions, as stated by the Justice Department.

San Clemente Island, CALIF. – The San Diego air station of the U.S. Coast Guard deployed a search-and-rescue helicopter on Wednesday morning upon receiving a report of an “downed aircraft” near San Clemente Island.
