In the old days, our soldiers were honored, especially those who had been killed, but now it seems that nobody will even investigate the deaths of our Military personnel, even when or perhaps because evidence indicates that the people responsible were, um, "connected" to others in power.

Are connected officials allowed to kill us now? It sure seems like it.

Do the lives of our once-respected retired United States Military matter to anybody anymore? They certainly matter to me, but I'm just a nobody to whom nobody else will listen.

I am part of the age group where morale has hit the bottom and these are frequent points of discussion so I thought I'd share. We just want to be able to put down roots somewhere and start our lives.
