Israeli occupation Prime Minister Yair Lapid issued a threat to Lebanon, urging the containment of Hezbollah in order to protect what it allegedly claims to be its right in the oil and gas assets in the Karish field.

Lapid spoke to the media before boarding a flight for Paris, where he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and discuss with him matters pertaining to the Mediterranean Sea and Israeli fears of Hezbollah's threats to their illegal activities in the Karish field. On a different topic, Lapid emphasized that France's membership in the E3 group of European nations that are negotiating the Iran nuclear deal is a crucial aspect of his trip.

FDA Authorizes The COVID Jab For Kids Five Years and Under

The Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines have officially been authorized for emergency use in young children by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to allow vaccination in children as young as 6 months.

The FDA announced the move in a press release on Friday morning.

However, vaccines cannot officially be given to children until the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) vaccine advisers vote to recommend them. The move from the CDC appears to be a simple formality, and a vote is scheduled for Saturday.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky has already signed off on the recommendation.

The White House said Thursday that vaccinations for America’s youngest children might begin next week.

Moderna’s vaccine is now authorized for use in children six months through 17 years, and Pfizer/BioNTech’s for children six months through 4 years.

The latest authorization means that an additional 17 million kids under the age of 5 are now eligible for Covid-19 vaccines.

“Many parents, caregivers and clinicians have been waiting for a vaccine for younger children and this action will help protect those down to 6 months of age. As we have seen with older age groups, we expect that the vaccines for younger children will provide protection from the most severe outcomes of COVID-19, such as hospitalization and death,” FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert M. Califf said in a news release.

“Those trusted with the care of children can have confidence in the safety and effectiveness of these COVID-19 vaccines and can be assured that the agency was thorough in its evaluation of the data.”

So far, 49 states have pre-ordered the vaccine for children under five. Only Florida has chosen, under the direction of Governor Ron DeSantis, not to order the vaccine. DeSantis has repeatedly said that the state is opposed to vaccine programs for young children.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney had some choice words after two local law enforcement officers were shot at a July 4 parade but none of his anger had to do with addressing the rising crime that has plagued the City of Brotherly Love for years.

As a matter of fact, the “defund the police” Democrat’s reaction to the news that two police officers were in the hospital was to express excitement that his mayoral term is ending soon because “there’s not an event, or a day, where I don’t lay on my back, and look at the ceiling, and worry about stuff.”

“I’ll be happy when I’m not here, when I’m not mayor, and I can enjoy some stuff,” Kenney continued.

Specifically, Kenney’s “waiting for something bad to happen all the time” has to do with guns, which he claimed will forever bear the blame for problems in the nation “until Americans decide that they want to give up the guns and give up the opportunity to get guns.”

So while the Philadelphia Police Department struggles to grapple with injured officers and the city’s record-high homicide rate which is on track to be much worse in 2022, the mayor is whining about gun control.

Philadelphia’s crime problem has been going on for years, but Kenney has repeatedly failed to address it. As a matter of fact, during the George Floyd riot era, Kenney made things worse by declining to increase the police budget to reflect the law enforcement needs in his city.

After facing pressure to defund the police,Kenney and the city council’s preliminary budget in 2020 sought to cut police funding by $14 millionat a time when rioters were ransacking and looting small businesses after George Floyd’s death.

One year later, Kenney froze the police budget to prevent any increases in spending on the department.

To put it in perspective, in 2015, the year Kenney was elected, the PPD had close to 6,600 officers and at least 800 civilian employees. In the first quarter of 2022, the department only had 5,900 sworn officers and 600 civilians despite a significant increase in violent crime across the board.

As a result of Kenney’s neglect, Philly is suffering a “historic shortage of police.” Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said that those officers who are still on the department’s payroll are “bearing heavier case loads, suffering from burnout, and experiencing increased stress.”

Maybe that’s why more than 63 percent of the city’s residents think Philly is “on the wrong track” and more than 70 percent of those surveyed listed increasing crime, drugs, and other public safety problems as their top issues of concern.

Kenney appears to care about crime and cops in his city as much as he cared about Philadelphia’s Covid-19 lockdown rules, which isn’t saying much. The officers injured on July 4 are well on their way to recovery but the city may not be unless the next Philadephia mayor prioritizes supporting the police instead of defunding them.

Nigerian politician one of two people charged with conspiring to harvest the organs of a child in the UK

Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55, and Ike Ekweremadu, 60, were remanded in custody and were expected to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court today.

A Nigerian politician is one of two people charged with allegedly conspiring to harvest the organs of a child in the UK.

District senator and lawyer Ike Ekweremadu, 60, has been charged alongside Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55 with conspiracy to arrange and/or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation.

The pair were remanded in custody and were due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court today.

Charges were brought against the pair, who are from Nigeria, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime team.

The politician was recently made a visiting professor at the University of Lincoln.

German Authorities Shut Down ‘World’s Largest And Longest-Running’ Darknet Market, Seize $25M in Bitcoin

The Justice Department announced today the seizure of Hydra Market (Hydra), the world’s largest and longest-running darknet market. In 2021, Hydra accounted for an estimated 80% of all darknet market-related cryptocurrency transactions, and since 2015, the marketplace has received approximately $5.2 billion in cryptocurrency.

The seizure of the Hydra servers and cryptocurrency wallets containing $25 million worth of bitcoin was made this morning in Germany by the German Federal Criminal Police (the Bundeskriminalamt), in coordination with U.S. law enforcement.

“The Justice Department will be relentless in our efforts to hold accountable those who violate our laws – no matter where they are located or how they try to hide their crimes,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “Together with our German law enforcement partners, we have seized the infrastructure of the world’s largest darknet market, but our work is far from over. We will continue to work alongside our international and interagency partners to disrupt and dismantle darknet markets, and to hold those who commit their crimes on the dark web accountable for their acts.”

“The Department of Justice will not allow darknet markets and cryptocurrency to be a safe haven for money laundering and the sale of hacking tools and services,” said Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco. “Our message should be clear: we will continue to go after darknet markets and those who exploit them. Together with our partners in Germany and around the world, we will continue our work to disrupt the ecosystem that allows these criminal actors to operate.”

Hydra was an online criminal marketplace that enabled users in mainly Russian-speaking countries to buy and sell illicit goods and services, including illegal drugs, stolen financial information, fraudulent identification documents, and money laundering and mixing services, anonymously and outside the reach of law enforcement. Transactions on Hydra were conducted in cryptocurrency and Hydra’s operators charged a commission for every transaction conducted on Hydra.

In conjunction with the shutdown of Hydra, the department also announced criminal charges against Dmitry Olegovich Pavlov, 30, a resident of Russia, for conspiracy to distribute narcotics and conspiracy to commit money laundering, in connection with his operation and administration of the servers used to run Hydra.

“This coordinated action sends a clear message to anyone attempting to operate or support an online criminal enterprise under the cover of the dark web,” said U.S. Attorney Stephanie M. Hinds for the Northern District of California. “The dark web is not a place criminals can operate with impunity or hide from U.S. law enforcement, and we will continue to use our sophisticated tools and expertise to dismantle and disable darknet markets. This action also underscores the importance of international law enforcement collaboration. We thank German authorities and the Bundeskriminalamt, the German Federal Criminal Police Office, for its valued assistance in this case.”

Whisteblower’s Lawyer: Pfizer Got Away With Vaccine Fraud Because Government Was Co-Conspirator

Pfizer has asked a U.S. court to throw out a whistleblower’s lawsuit on the basis that the company can’t be guilty of fraud, abuse, and protocol violations in its COVID Vaccine clinical trials because its contract with the U.S. government allowed them to skirt regulations and federal laws that typically apply to government contracts.

In other words, Pfizer was allegedly able to make false statements to the government, and lie about the safety and efficacy of its product, “because the government was in on it with them!” according to Robert Barnes, the lead lawyer in the case.

"A California-based Latin music company CEO and an associate are being accused of engaging in business transactions with a Mexican-based concert promoter who has ties to drug cartels in Mexico.

Ángel del Villar, 41, owner of Del Records and talent agency Del Entertainment, and Luca Scalisi, 56, the chief financial officer of Del Entertainment, were taken into custody Wednesday morning.

Del Villar, of Huntington Beach, and Scalisi, of West Hollywood, appeared before a judge at the United States District court in Los Angeles the same day and were informed of their charges of conspiring to violate the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act.

Del Villar was released on a $100,000 bond while Scalisi was released on a $35,000 bond. Both men are due back in court July 20 for their arraignments.
