I'll take advantage of this forum and it's anonymity to share a story. As a child I would dream of flying. Not in a plane but by running along the ground and jumping in the air. I found the ore I practiced and failed the more I learned. I would flap my arms and was able to stay in the air a little longer. Eventually after many such dreams I learned that I would go where my attention took me. If I imagined I was airborne I could fly anywhere I put my mind to. If I looked at the ground and kept my attention there I would land. I remember the struggle and frustration of not being able to enjoy flying.
In my teens I would wake up to go to school and start getting dressed and would look back at the bed . There I was still sleeping. I would have to go and lay back down To get the physical body up.
In the service I had what is called the full Kundalini experience (I'll let you look that up).
That was many years ago, and what I have learned in that time is not really that much. It was more of an unlearning. It is that each of us is soul (consciousness). We are immortal beings. During that experience I heard the words "I am he whom you know as the Lord" there was more but I barely heard it, I got what I needed. During that experience The energy started with the lowest chakra at the base of the spine. It moved up my spine lighting me up along the way. IT paused at my neck and then burst through my head and out the top. This is electrifying very strong and it gathered above my head for a moment. Then came back in…………It was so bright my third eye had to squint, the sound was that of a very large transformer hum the the voice.
Soul is created by God. We are all It's sons. We are all learning the same lessons (in different times and lives). Soul exists to discover itself that is what everyone is doing (whether they know it or not). God doesn't care about soul in the way we care about a pet. If we lose a pet we miss them, we miss their presence. God never misses you EVER. Nor does It worry about you (you are immortal). If you have ever had the experience of just being a view point (with no body) that is what soul is like.
The reason I am writing this is to address the reason to be involved in battle, the why of defense. And is God on your side. Let me say this, God is on the side of good. God is not on the side of any religion. IF you are doing good for others (defense) that cannot defend themselves you are on the right track. No need to parade God around with a flag shouting victory. That's for you, that's something we do to make ourselves bigger, more than we are. We are nothing more than consciousness animating a physical body in order to discover who we are. Everything else is optional.
Love is the glue.
