December New Home Sales: Inventory of homes under construction highest since 2007

Graph shows new home sales for 2020 and 2021 by month (Seasonally Adjusted Annual Rate). Sales in 2021 (762 thousand) were 7.3% below sales in 2020 (822 thousand). The year-over-year comparisons were easy in the first half of 2021 - especially in March and April. However, sales will be down year-over-year again in January since the sales were delayed in 2020 - and sales in the winter were strong.

The next graph shows the months of supply by stage of construction. “Months of supply” is inventory at each stage, divided by the sales rate.

The inventory of completed homes for sale was at 39 thousand in December, up from the record low of 33 thousand in March, April, May and July 2021. That is about 0.6 months of completed supply (red line). This is about half the normal level.

The inventory of new homes under construction is at 3.9 months (blue line) - well above the normal level. This elevated level of homes under construction is due to supply chain constraints. And 101 thousand homes have not been started - about 1.5 months of supply (grey line) - almost double the normal level.

'Arizona Senate Committee Passes SEVEN Election Integrity Bills – Including Ballot Fraud Countermeasures, Ballot Images Will Be Public Records:

Seven critical election integrity bills were passed by Republicans on the Arizona Senate Government Committee Monday.

The Arizona audit discovered evidence of over 700,000 ballot discrepancies and law violations that occurred during the 2020 Presidential Election, and the Arizona Legislature is working to secure elections in 2022 and beyond. Many in the legislature look to recall the fraudulent 2020 Presidential and Vice Presidential Electors this session.

The audit is still ongoing, but The Arizona Senate delivered election-changing evidence of fraud to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich four months ago. Arizona anxiously awaits the results of his criminal investigation.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the call to action days before the Government Committee considered twelve bills, eight of which passed and will now move to the Senate floor after additional hearings.

The brand new election security measures received loud rounds of applause. Attendees of the meeting were asked to do “jazz hands” instead of clapping to keep order in the meeting room.

Trump-endorsed Arizona Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake was also there to speak on a bill.

On Monday, The Senate Government Committee voted yes on SB1008, SB1009, SB1012, SB1013, SB1054, SB1119, SB1120, SB1133.

Seven bills passed concentrated on elections. The remaining bills were rescheduled for the committee due to time.

The newly passed legislation covers recount margins, adds currency grade fraud measures to ballots, makes ballot images public records, prevents elections by mail, and fights illegal voters using the “federal only” loophole.

Republicans on this committee outnumbered Democrats 4:3, and every bill passed on party lines. Democrats did not vote for a single election integrity measure.

If passed in full, SB1119 and SB1120 will make ballot images available to voters and require ballots to be printed with ballot fraud countermeasures. These bills are designed to make elections fully transparent with an auditable trail of secure ballots.

The Gateway Pundit reported on these election integrity measures unveiled by Arizona State Representative and Trump-endorsed candidate for Secretary of State Mark Finchem.

Arizona Senate Majority Whip Sonny Borrelli introduced these bills in the Senate.

Ballots do not contain voters’ personal information, and they will remain anonymous but publicly available for the 22-month record retention period under SB1119. “We vote in private, but we count in public, and your ballot is a public record, and it should be made that transparent,” said Arizona State Senator Sonny Borrelli.

Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake also commented on this bill, saying,

Lake: I’m going to be on the ballot, and I’m worried about what happened to President Trump happening to me and others, Democrat and Republican. And I urge you to support this bill and any other bill that would shore up our elections.

SB11120 will require counties to use standardized ballots with 19 different security features, including a holographic design and watermarks. The new ballots will also have QR codes that enable voters to track their votes using a smartphone.

The bill will standardize the ballots and make it easier to audit the vote.

The Arizona Senate-led audit of Maricopa County discovered that the County used ten different paper types in the 2020 election. Ballots should be standardized in a way that cannot be replicated.

The estimated cost is a mere 25 cents per ballot.

Democrats voted no on these bills citing bandwidth and price concerns.

Horowitz: Whistleblowers share DoD medical data that blows vaccine safety debate wide open

Data, transparency, and surveillance. That is what has been missing from the greatest experiment on humans of all time throughout this pandemic. Now, military medical whistleblowers have come forward with what they claim is perhaps the most accurate and revealing data set on vaccine safety one could possibly find.

The pro-pharma politicians and media claim the CDC’s pharmacosurveillance tool “VAERS” is not good enough to trigger investigations into the shots because anyone can supposedly submit a vaccine adverse event entry. Thus, all the concerning safety signals from VAERS are being ignored, even though that system was put in place as a consolation to the public for absolving vaccine manufacturers of liability. Well, now some military whistleblowers are coming forward to present data that, if verified, would signal extremely disturbing safety concerns about the vaccine that make the VAERS data look like child’s play.

On Monday, during Sen. Ron Johnson’s five-hour hearing on a “COVID-19: Second Opinion,” Ohio attorney Thomas Renz, who has been representing clients suing the vaccine mandates, presented DOD medical billing data from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) that paints a shockingly disturbing picture of the health of our service members in 2021.

According to the military, DMED is the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Branch’s (AFHSB) “web-based tool to remotely query de-identified active component personnel and medical event data contained within the Defense Medical Surveillance System (DMSS).” In other words, it contains every ICD medical billing code for any medical diagnosis in the military submitted for medical insurance billing during any given period of time. Three military doctors have presented queried data to Renz that shows a shocking and sudden spike in nearly every ICD code for common vaccine injuries in 2021.

In a declaration under penalty of perjury that Renz plans to use in federal court, Drs. Samuel Sigoloff, Peter Chambers, and Theresa Long — three military doctors — revealed that there has been a 300% increase in DMED codes registered for miscarriages in the military in 2021 over the five-year average. The five-year average was 1,499 codes for miscarriages per year. During the first 10 months of 2021, it was 4,182. As Renz explained to me in an interview with TheBlaze, these doctors queried the numbers for hundreds of codes from 2016 through 2020 to establish a baseline five-year average. These codes were generally for ailments and injuries that medical literature has established as being potential adverse effects of the vaccines.

Renz told me the numbers tended to be remarkably similar in all those preceding years, including in 2020, which was the first year of the pandemic but before the vaccines were distributed. But then in 2021, the numbers skyrocketed, and the 2021 data doesn’t even include the months of November and December. For example, some public health officials speculate that COVID itself places women at higher risk for miscarriages. But the number of miscarriage codes recorded in 2020 was actually slightly below the five-year average (1,477). However, they were not drastically below the average on any one category in a way that one can suggest it reflects lockdown-related decreases in doctor’s visits, which somehow led to an increase in 2021 diagnoses.

The database has all the ICD codes for both military hospital visits and ambulatory visits. The data presented by Renz so far is all from the query of ambulatory diagnosis data.

Aside from the spike in miscarriage diagnoses (ICD code O03 for spontaneous abortions), there was an almost 300% increase in cancer diagnoses (from a five-year average of 38,700 per year to 114,645 in the first 11 months of 2021). There was also a 1,000% increase in diagnosis codes for neurological issues, which increased from a baseline average of 82,000 to 863,000!

Some other numbers he did not mention at the hearing but gave to me in the interview are the following:

Bell’s palsy – 291% increase

congenital malformations (for children of military personnel) – 156% increase

female infertility – 471% increase

pulmonary embolisms – 467% increase

All these numbers are among the ambulatory visits because those are where the vast number of diagnoses in the military occur.However, Renz did say the increases were indicated in the hospitalized patients as well. I have seen one of the sworn declarations from one of the military doctors, and it states as follows, “It is my professional opinion that the major increases incidences of the above discussed instances of miscarriages, cancers, and disease were due to COVID-19 ‘vaccinations.'"

According to Renz, it was the actual clinical experience of the three named doctors and several unnamed doctors that led them to investigate DMED, and their discoveries reflected their experience treating patients with ailments extremely unusual to healthy, young soldiers since the rollout of the vaccines.

I have spoken to one of the whistleblowers who attests to being gravely concerned with seeing young soldiers with sudden metastatic cancers, auto-immune diseases, and heart and circulatory disorders that have caused many soldiers to drop out of various training programs.“These doctors were motivated to explore DMED data due to the numbers of case increases they were seeing empirically,” said the whistleblower, who served in the military for many years. “Some physicians throughout the force (all branches) have been intimidated by commands not to perform the full spectrum of testing and adhere to the regulations, which implicitly direct full workups for EUA vaccination adverse reactions. It will require other military physicians to step forward and share experiences to fully ascertain the enormity of these allegations and engender an investigation to the fullest extent.”

Renz claims he has a video with two witnesses showing the entire process of downloading this data from the database and is prepared to present it in court. He also told me that this is just “the tip of the iceberg,” as the codes have increased exponentially in numerous other diagnosis categories. Renz said his spreadsheet, which includes over 100 medical diagnosis categories, was shared with Senator Johnson and his staff before the Monday hearing.

It’s important to note that these numbers do not represent the number of individual people diagnosed with various ailments, but number of diagnoses codes used in totality at a given time. For example, someone who has a stroke is obviously going to rack up numerous neurological ICD codes over the course of a year with multiple ambulatory and hospital visits. However, the apples-to-apples comparison from the previous five years clearly shows an unmistakable spike in ailments.

If these numbers are verified in the upcoming court cases, then absent some massive military insurance fraud or bizarre glitch in the system, it potentially paints a shocking picture of vaccine safety concerns that would indicate that not only were the VAERS safety signals something that should immediately have been followed up on, but they are plagued by woeful underreporting. The military is a defined, finite, and closely controlled and monitored population. They are also overwhelmingly young and healthy. If allegations of neurological, cardio, and cancer concerns surrounding the vaccines are indeed true, the military would be the most revealing place to discover it, and their data is the most reliable and undisputable.

Evergrande aims for restructuring plan within 6 months as creditor talks begin

China Evergrande Group said it aimed to have an initial restructuring plan within six months during a long-awaited call with creditors on Wednesday, its first communication with them since the property giant's finances began to unravel last year.

Once China's top developer, Evergrande has debts of more than $300 billion and is struggling to repay creditors, suppliers and investors in wealth management products. It missed some dollar bond payments last month, sparking calls for talks.

Nearly $20 billion of Evergrande's international bonds are now deemed to be in default.

The company's newly-appointed executive director Siu Shawn, who is also the chairman of Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group Ltd, said on the call that Evergrande was working on a comprehensive restructuring plan, which it aimed to propose within six months, adding that it hoped to work with creditors to achieve a risk management solution, a participant said.

Evergrande had on Monday sought more time from its offshore bondholders to work on a "comprehensive" debt restructuring plan, after a group of creditors said they were ready to take "all necessary actions" to defend their rights if it did not show more urgency to resolve a default.

The company's debt crisis has engulfed other Chinese developers, roiled global financial markets in the past year and contributed to a slump in China's property market, which accounts for a quarter of its economy.

A member of the developer's risk management committee, Chen Yong, also joined the 25-minute call which included prepared answers to questions, the participant added.

Chen is a compliance director of state-owned Guosen Securities. Andrew Huang, Evergrande's Hong Kong branch general manager, was also be present on the call, said the participant, declining to be named due to confidentiality constraints.

Evergrande set up the risk management committee in December with mostly members from state enterprises, as the Guangdong provincial government leads work on the firm's restructuring.

Evergrande has also asked the bondholders to disclose their holdings by the middle of this week to identify investors for communications, and hired more financial and legal advisers to follow up on creditor demands.

Blasts of flashing radio waves coming from mysterious nearby object in space

"That was completely unexpected," says one scientist. ‘It was kind of spooky for an astronomer because there’s nothing known in the sky that does that

Scientists have spotted a “mysterious” object letting out giant blasts of energy, three times an hour.

Whatever the object is – which is relatively nearby, at 4,000 lightyears away – it is nothing like astronomers have ever seen before.

“This object was appearing and disappearing over a few hours during our observations,” said Natasha Hurley-Walker, from the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, who led the research

“That was completely unexpected. It was kind of spooky for an astronomer because there’s nothing known in the sky that does that.

“And it’s really quite close to us—about 4000 lightyears away. It’s in our galactic backyard.”

The object could be a neutron star or a white dwarf, astronomers speculate, that has an incredibly powerful magnetic field.

It is spinning around quickly in space so that the beam of radiation flashes towards us three times every hour. For one minute out of every twenty, it becomes one the brightest radio sources in the whole sky.

A student at Curtin University, named Tyrone O’Doherty, was the first to spot the object using the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) telescope in outback Western Australia. Since it was found, it has turned out to perplex the astronomers who have studied it.

“It’s exciting that the source I identified last year has turned out to be such a peculiar object,” said Mr O’Doherty, who is now studying for a PhD at Curtin.

“The MWA’s wide field of view and extreme sensitivity are perfect for surveying the entire sky and detecting the unexpected.”

There are a wide array of different objects in space that turn off and on, which are given the name “transients”. Usually, they come from the death of a massive star or the flickering remnants that are left behind when that happens.

They can go fast – like a neutron star, called a pulsar, which can flash on and off in miliseconds – or they can go slowly, happening over a few days, as in the course of supernovae.

But something in the middle, like the new object, is very unusual.

There are yet more mysteries about the object. It is incredibly bright, but smaller than the sun, and shoots out highly-polarised radio waves. That would indicate that it has a very strong magnetic field.

Taken together, those characteristics seem to match an object known as an ultra-long period magnetar. But such an object has never actually been seen before – and it came as a surprise.

“It’s a type of slowly spinning neutron star that has been predicted to exist theoretically,” said Dr Hurley-Walker.

“But nobody expected to directly detect one like this because we didn’t expect them to be so bright.

“Somehow it’s converting magnetic energy to radio waves much more effectively than anything we’ve seen before.”

Scientists are now watching the the area intently in the hope that it will switch back on. If it does, they will be able to point telescopes towards it in the hope of learning more.

They will also look through the archives of observations from the MWA to see whether there are other examples of such objects that have been missed in the past. “More detections will tell astronomers whether this was a rare one-off event or a vast new population we’d never noticed before,” said Dr Hurley-Walker.

A paper describing the research, ‘A radio transient with unusually slow periodic emission’, is published today in Nature.

Chile Surprises Markets With 150 Basis Point Key Rate Hike

Chile’s central bank delivered its biggest interest rate hike in more than 20 years, signaling renewed urgency to drag soaring inflation back down to target.

The bank increased the overnight rate by 150 basis points to 5.5% on Wednesday. Eleven analysts in a Bloomberg survey expected a third straight hike of 125 basis points, while only three bet on a rise of 1.5 percentage points.

The central bank warned of significant risks for inflation, according to its statement. “In particular, the recent evolution of activity and inflation is somewhat above what was forecast in the December monetary policy report and inflationary pressures derived from the international scenario have increased,” the bank said.

Policy makers are struggling to contain the fastest annual inflation in 14 years amid record economic growth. Bank board members wrote after their last decision that it was important to not surprise financial markets on rates. Since then, consumer price increases topped forecasts for six consecutive months, global oil prices jumped and the recovery of the local labor market gathered steam.
