Illegal aliens are ending their 23-day hunger strike after successfully lobbying New York state Democrats and Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to provide them with billions in taxpayer-funded aid.
While more than a million jobs have been lost in New York and an estimated 80,000 New York businesses may not make it to the end of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, Cuomo and state Democrats will provide $2.1 billion in stimulus checks and unemployment-style benefits to nearly 200,000 illegal aliens.
In comparison, as Breitbart News reported, small businesses devastated by the pandemic are receiving just $1 billion in tax credits and grants — $1.1 billion less than illegal aliens in the state.
Many illegal aliens who stand to benefit from the aid are ending the 23-day hunger strike they started last month, eating a meal at a victory rally on Wednesday.
Previous estimates suggested illegal aliens could receive up to $28,600 a year thanks to the taxpayer-funded benefits approved by Cuomo. Weekly, illegal aliens could receive $500. For those unemployed since March 2020, illegal aliens could receive, on average, $12,600.
New York, and particularly New York City, has been ravaged by Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio’s (D) economic lockdown measures that have now been in place for more than a year. Historic venues, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and local neighborhood spots have had to close their doors for good as a result of the lockdowns.
Those forced to close include The Roosevelt hotel in Midtown East, which opened in 1924; the Copacabana nightclub, which opened in 1940; The Paris Cafe, which opened in 1873; and Empire Coffee & Tea, which opened in 1908, among hundreds of others.

Previously unseen e-mails on Hunter Biden’s “Hard Drive from Hell” point to never-before-seen evidence of involvement by Joe Biden in his son’s lucrative business dealings in Ukraine with natural gas conglomerate Burisma Holdings, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.
In a previously unreported email reviewed by The National Pulse, Rosemont Seneca Partners employee Joan K. Peugh advises Hunter Biden – who is addressed by his given name, Robert – that he is scheduled for a White House meeting on April 16th, 2014.
Previously, it was believed on Devon Archer had attended the meeting in the West Wing, and the corporate media excused the matter as an “art project” discussion.
But just days after, then Vice President Joe Biden visited Ukraine, and both Hunter and Archer would start receiving whopping checks from energy company Burisma, an industry in which they had zero experience.
Hunter Biden recently admitted the previously dismissed “hard drive from hell” actually “could” be his.
The line item of the e-mail, itself dated April 15th 2014, reads: “1115AM- Meet Devon and Luke @ Peet’s Coffee and head to WH (Jamie Lyons is ####### if anything comes up).”
Lyons, at the time, was an assistant to Joe Biden’s chief of staff Steve Richetti, which indicates attention by the Vice President himself into the visit of the two soon-to-be Burisma board members.
Significantly, this April 16th meeting occurred only five days before Joe Biden took his second vice presidential trip to Ukraine to deliver a substantial package of assistance to Ukraine, including energy security, some of which directly benefitted the company – Burisma – which would simultaneously start fattening his son’s wallet.
Obama White House Visitor Logs dated April 16th 2014 and reviewed by The National Pulse confirm Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer and his son Luke Archer were, indeed, admitted to the West Wing at 1130AM to meet the Vice President.
As a family member of the Vice President, Hunter Biden would have been able to access the White House without having a visitor’s appointment, so his name would not appear in the visitor logs. To this date, it is unclear if he was a part of the meeting.
This newly published email is the first traceable evidence that Hunter Biden was also present at his business partner’s West Wing meeting with his father, and it potentially refutes Joe Biden’s assertion that he knew nothing of Hunter’s business in Ukraine. If anything, this looks more like a planning meeting for the three.

Flashes and explosions tore up the night sky over the Syrian capital of Damascus. Air defenses intercepted the majority of incoming missiles, Syria's SANA news agency reported, calling the reported attack an “Israeli aggression.”
Four Syrian servicemen were injured in the attack, that has also inflicted material losses, SANA reported. The missiles reportedly came in from the direction of Lebanon as well as the Golan Heights, a territory occupied by Israel since 1973.
There were reports of a “huge explosion” to the west of Damascus around 1 am local time on Thursday.
Israel routinely launched air strikes into Syria, saying it is targeting “Iranian” assets. Tehran has backed Damascus in the war against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorists as well as Islamist militants backed by Turkey and the West that launched an insurrection against President Bashar Assad’s government in March 2011.
Thursday morning’s attack was the first since March 16, and ninth since January, according to the Jerusalem Post. Israel has not officially commented on the strike.

Democratic-led House to vote on D.C. statehood bill week of April 19
The Democratic-led House passed a D.C. statehood bill in the last session of Congress but it did not move forward in the GOP-led Senate.
The Democratic-led House will vote on the Washington, D.C. statehood bill during the week of April 19, Just the News learned Wednesday.
Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, the District of Columbia's House member, said the vote will take place after the chamber's Committee on Oversight and Government Reform's markup of the legislation on April 14.
Norton, who as a delegate cannot cast a final floor vote, expects the legislation to pass in her chamber.
“The week of April 19th the House will take a historic step in righting the monumental wrong of denying the 712,000 federal taxpaying American citizens who live in the nation’s capital voting representation in Congress and self-government without congressional interference into local affairs,” Norton, a Democrat, said in a statement.
Norton also said she was grateful to House Oversight Committee Chairwoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., for scheduling the hearing and markup early in this Congress. She thanked Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., for scheduling the "historic "House floor vote, during which "we expect the House to pass the D.C. statehood bill for the second time in history.”
The Democratic-led House passed a D.C. statehood bill in the last session of Congress, 232-180, but it did not move forward in the GOP-led Senate.
The Democrats now have a 51-50 majority in the Senate with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tie-breaking vote but the legislative filibuster is still in place. The statehood bill would need to overcome the 60-vote threshold to move forward in the chamber.
Maloney said the House bill currently has 215 Democratic cosponsors and the Senate companion bill has 42 Democratic cosponsors, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
"The bill would admit the State of Washington, D.C. and reduce the size of the federal district," Maloney said.

The Georgia example is instructive in illustrating exactly how much of our conflict is downstream of the broken media.
The media’s false reporting about new election legislation in Georgia whipped up a controversy that left millions of people grossly misinformed, frightened voters, mired major corporations in high-stakes public relations frenzies, distracted the political discourse, and furthered the country’s divisions. In short, it’s a perfect example of how the media is fueling our national conflict.
In this case, the media uncritically regurgitated Georgia Democrats’ partisan hyperbole, treating a narrative the party strategically crafted to defeat the legislation as fact and turning it into a long and false national news cycle. That news cycle left the public with an impression that the legislation was objectively racist.
That impression scared and motivated the public, leading employees to pressure executives into action. Worse, the false coverage led millions of people to believe that a major political party representing half the country was seeking to reinstate Jim Crow.
The coverage from our country’s major publications was so bad that after a few days, even liberals like Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips and Will Saletan of Slate began pushing back. Those responsible for the bad coverage, which is the bulk of the legacy press, appear to be facing no consequences.
Over at RealClearPolitics, Carl Cannon wrote a poignant column on the offensive absurdity of invoking Jim Crow in this context.
“When Donald Trump likened his being impeached to a lynching, living relatives of Willie Edwards and Emmett Till called this comparison ‘ignorant’ and ‘insensitive’ and ‘offensive.’ They were right,” Cannon wrote. “But now Biden is invoking racist history, and doing it to score partisan political points. Millions of Americans who voted for him hoped they were done having to listen to such blasphemy from the White House.”

EDMONTON, Alberta, April 7, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – In an early morning raid Canadian police have constructed a barricade around a Christian church in Alberta which has remained open, despite a local police order mandating its closure after its pastor refused to comply with COVID regulations.
According to Rebel News, who provided LifeSiteNews with details about the early morning raid, Christian Grace Life Church (Grace Life) located in Spruce Grove, Alberta, was walled off with two layers of security fencing, as well as a black tarpaulin sheet, concealing the entrance to the church.
The church’s Pastor James Coates was recently freed from jail. Coates was jailed from February 16 until March 22 for defying COVID-related orders in Alberta. He refused to agree to bail conditions which blocked his release unless he agreed to not hold church services amid severe lockdowns.
Rebel News reporter Sheila Gunn Ried, who is at the church this morning, tweeted that “RCMP and private Paladin security are here. RCMP have no documentation to present to the church re: closure, but are keeping members off the property.”
Section 176(2) of the “Criminal Code of Canada” bans interrupting or disturbing a religious worship service.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) issued an order on January 29 that demanded that the church doors of Grace Life remain shut. Coates and Grace Life elders continued to conduct worship services despite the order.
Rebel News also told LifeSiteNews that “they're installing port-a-potties on the site, which may be in anticipation of 24 hour survelliance.”
Coates walked out of the Edmonton Remand Centre as a free man on March 22, after a $1,500 fine was paid “as time served.” After his release, he went straight back to preaching, despite police presence outside his church this past Sunday.
Current Alberta COVID rules state that churches and other places of worship can operate at no more than 15 percent of the capacity allowed by the building fire code. Masks are mandatory, as are the sanitation of hands and keeping away from other people.
Gunn Reid tweeted of the raid of GraceLife: “The government is so hell-bent on enforcing the closure notice that they are now blocking the shared driveway access to a private landowner next door. The landowner next door cannot access their own property because the state raided GraceLife church.”

There were 645 instances of the top 20 defense contractors in fiscal year 2016 hiring former senior government officials, military officers, Members of Congress, and senior legislative staff as lobbyists, board members, or senior executives in 2018 (see chart below). Since some lobbyists work for multiple defense contractors, there are more instances than officials.1
Of those instances, nearly 90 percent became registered lobbyists, where the operational skill is influence-peddling.
At least 380 high-ranking Department of Defense officials and military officers shifted into the private sector to become lobbyists, board members, executives, or consultants for defense contractors.
Of the Department of Defense officials POGO tracked through the revolving door, a quarter of them (95) went to work at the Department of Defense’s top 5 contractors (Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamics, and Northrop Grumman).
Military officers going through the revolving door included 25 Generals, 9 Admirals, 43 Lieutenant Generals, and 23 Vice Admirals.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has confirmed to the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) that the most transformative rule in more than 35 years of providing oversight for federal contractors recovering human organs for transplant became effective on March 30, 2021. The urgent appeal appeared in a November 9, 2020, email sent right after major U.S. media outlets projected Joe Biden’s election victory. Obtained by the Project On Government Oversight, the query came not from a political operative, but from a prominent health care executive, Tom Mone, CEO of OneLegacy, America’s largest human organ procurement organization (OPO). OneLegacy collects vital body parts and tissue for 215 hospitals and 11 transplant centers across greater Los Angeles, and is part of an industry that wants to gut a new rule to improve the organ procurement process for hundreds of thousands of patients in need.
Recipients of Mone’s message included a top Washington lobbyist and CEOs in charge of some of the biggest organ procurement organizations in the country, which operate as government-approved monopolies in their assigned regions. But his nakedly political plea was unrelated to the nitty gritty of obtaining organs for transplant.
