Regardless of your country, when the draft officers come for you, you have a decision to make.
The "easy" decision, go with the flow, put off confrontation because it seems so unreal. They will take you to a camp where you will get minimal training, a rifle and sent out to the front lines where you will face an enemy who is going to use drones, missiles, huge glide bombs, artillery, grenades, mines, thermobaric warheads, tanks, hundreds to thousands of "enemy" troops. Your chances of surviving are low.
Or, you can accept that your own government has already condemned you to death and the draft officers coming for you are in fact your jailers and executioners. Your previous life is already over and you are already on death row. You would be better served by evading them and joining not the military but the underworld. As a criminal, a conventional life is closed to you, this means your future is one of organised crime, drug running, gun running, bribing officials, politicians. You have a much better chance as a mobster against a few military police with rifles than you do as cannon fodder in a trench against the total might modern warfare can bring to bear on you.
When they come for you, they have already taken your life. You have nothing left to lose.
