Because the only reason anyone will go back to 4/pol/ is because of insane traffic.
You can post something there and thousands of people might read it, you post something here maybe 12 people will read it.
4/pol/ was plugged into the mainstream so that far right ideology could penetrate the mainstream and even become somewhat normalized. It had a huge effect on modern culture because of it's insane traffic.
It's like everyone and their aunt has poked around a little on 4/pol/ at least a few times.
And most will return when it's back, if it comes back, to shout in the mega giant public forum that is 4/pol/.
Everything else about it is a bunch of suck in comparison to other chans, but again, we'll all go back to the center of the action because that's where it'll be at. Nothing for it.
I'd hoped another chan alone somewhere would host a majority of 4chan refugees and there would be a shift to another site.
Instead everyone was just spread out all over the place, waiting for 4chan to return. It's a shame it happened that way too I was hoping for more cohesion in the community to pick an alternate chan but there was never a strong consensus and we are not united with each other fully until 4chan returns.
