What is it exactly they are protesting? Carbon taxes? Government-created debt slavery? De-industrialization? Mass censorship? Gun grabs from law abiding citizens? ….. those would all be noble to protest against.

I deeply suspect this is the case anon, just another group of brainwashed Marxist zombies who want regime change over a president who refuses to allow them to chop the testicles off their own sons and call them "daughters"…. I'm not buying ANYTHING the Western media has to sell these days, it all smells like a pile of horseshit.

Well let me tell you everything from the very start. In 2018 The students started a protest to remove quota system from the govt jobs as there were 56% quota for different groups where they were protesting against The Liberation War Quota which had 30% of the total jobs. The Liberation War was in 1971 and as it was a sensitive topic the government kept renewing this from 1972 for their children and even their grandchildren where there was only 0.3% freedom fighters. Even though the process of choosing freedom fighters was corrupted, the number was too big in the job market. The court acknowledged the issue and removed it until the first week of July which made the students protest again. BUT THIS TIME THE PM at first marked them as betrayer of the country. For which more students joined the protest and as the PM ordered a shoot in sight order against them it's not a protest anymore, it's a WAR now!

And this war is not just bounded within the students anymore. The lawyers are coming front for the students who were the victims of the false cases, the rickshaw and other public transport drivers are giving free ride to the protesters, the teachers are coming to free their students(they are even arresting teachers in a vast number to avoid their encouragement), the doctors are giving free treatment, the wage-earners are stopping remittance to corner the government and their genocide.

And for me-

1. I am not a western, I am directly from Bangladesh seeing this things with own eyes.

2. I am a student protesting myself and as the Hasina Govt had already deployed Army on their own people I think it's better to reach the world rather than relying on Aljazeera, CNC, DW and etc. If you want to verify, go to their pages and yt channels you will see the documentations, they could verify by not being here rather relying on the satellite and various other methods. The things you will see won't be too much less inhuman than I am sharing collected from the victims nearest people at the moment

Just like the anti-abortion peaceful protesters who simply held signs are now serving prison sentences (no shit, HERE IN AMERICA)! I'm a little skeptical myself honestly, although this is a place for free speech where news should be covered and this is news worthy.

My thought is the fact this is stemming from a university youth protest, it might be some stirred up color revolution by another outside country, like the US or Israel or maybe Russia or China? Universities around the world politically brainwash people into believing in "democracy" YET all the adults in the room know damn well "democracy" does not really exist ANYWHERE. I live in rural conservative America and I can tell you it's probably the most "free" place you can find on planet Earth right now, and yet we still don't really have freedom like we once used to. Almost everything is regulated by the government today, you still have to pay taxes for shit policy you don't support, you still have to go to court if you legally and lethally kill someone in self-defense, we still have to have a license and social security number, we still have building codes, we still have emissions standards tests for vehicles, we still are regulated to 10 rounds or less when you hunt deer out here and must get it all tagged for processing, blah blah. And consider this: that's in the most freedom-oriented places in America! So yah, "democracy" is a fraud, it's a lie, it's all a hoax. You can still get sent to jail for not buckling up in a fucking vehicle out here. Ridiculous!
