Idk if when john gets sick that sending in the substitute teacher that tried having a relationship with their students is not only inappropriate but counterproductive. He should have at least let you know where he left off with his work before obligating you to a situation wherein you only have recourse to your standard methods of teaching to a prior subset of subjects, which if he'd, you or your superiors had done their efficacies would have realized immediately not only how wasteful on many levels you'd be, but also detrimental to the mission goal itself.
I am disappointed, but our day is not ruined.
