Merry Christmas! Version 14.88.28 of the Coincidence Detector has been released, and it's working again.
Changes:
- Judas Watch integration was disabled, because https://judas.watch/ has disappeared.
- IPFS URLs were disabled, because I'm not happy with IPFS's performance. I also want to handle decentralization of the list in a more low-tech way going forward.
- Firefox's postMessage implemenation became more strict since 2 years ago, so a Firefox-specific fix for that had to be made.

If you're the only node serving a particular piece of data, and nobody else "pins" it, the moment your node goes down, the data is unreachable. Furthermore, there's nothing automatic about pinning. Either someone pins your data out of the kindness of their heart (unlikely), or you make a deal with someone else who runs a node and ask them to pin some of your data. These days, there are pinning services, and I believe they have free tiers to entice new customers, but anything substantial may require payment, because bandwidth and storage has costs associated with it.
