TLDR/TLDW: Prisons upon sub prisons upon sub prisons underground over millennia are filled with people who have never seen the surface. When they inevitably escape they build buildings or pyramids around them to prevent them from knowing they got to the surface or else they might get hope which would give them extra energy to break through. Eventually some of the buildings turned into sky scrapers and 9/11 was a massive escape from the underground which was responded to by flushing the building designed for just this situation like a submarine capsule flushed back down underground and the breach sealed.
-The 9/11 mainstream story was the cover because if the common people of the surface found out they could be driven to passionate war fever about the injustice of the people trapped underground there, thus causing massive wars, chaos, and hysteria that could destroy humanity as it is not known how many billions or trillions of people may be down there.
