WTM (T.me) President Donald Trump was briefly delayed by Secret Service agents from taking the stage at a conference in Nashville Saturday because of another security lapse, The Post has learned.
The hold up was caused by two individuals who made their way around metal detectors inside the Music City Center where the 2024 Bitcoin conference was held shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.
The Secret Service said in a statement to The Post Monday night the two were “credentialed and screened,” but were removed from the premises because they didn’t follow proper entry protocol.
“It was determined that there was no protective interest with these individuals and there was never a threat to the former president,” a Secret Service spokesperson said.

IJ client Stephen Lara sued to hold Nevada accountable after the state’s highway patrol seized his life savings. The government got a court to put his case on hold pending the outcome of a different challenge to government abuse. So IJ got involved in that case and helped secure a major victory for accountability.
RENO, Nev.—On Thursday, the Second Judicial District Court for the State of Nevada denied the state’s motion to dismiss a Marine veteran’s lawsuit challenging the state’s civil forfeiture laws, after his life savings were taken through the controversial process nearly three years ago. Thursday’s decision means Stephen Lara, represented by the Institute for Justice (IJ), can continue his legal challenge to the state’s forfeiture scheme, which allows police to take people’s property without showing that they committed a crime.
“The court’s ruling is a major first step toward justice for Stephen and all victims of unjust civil forfeiture laws,” said IJ Attorney Ben Field. “If the government wants to take your money or property, it should first have to prove you did something wrong. Nevada law enforcement should have to follow the Nevada Constitution.”
In February 2021, Stephen was pulled over on a Nevada highway on his way to visit his daughters. The officers who pulled him over never alleged he did anything wrong, and Stephen cooperated throughout the ordeal. However, using civil forfeiture, the officers were able to detain Stephen for more than an hour and take his life savings from him. He was left penniless on the side of the highway. The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) then used a controversial tactic known as the equitable sharing program to send Stephen’s money to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), with the expectation that the DEA would circumvent Nevada law to forfeit the money using more government-friendly federal law and then kick back the lion’s share for the NHP to use however it wanted.
Stephen eventually got his money back from the DEA after he teamed up with IJ in September 2021 to file a lawsuit which gained national media attention, but only after he had lost his life savings for the better part of a year. While his claims against the DEA are now moot, Thursday’s decision guarantees that all of his claims against the NHP will be heard on the merits.
Stephen’s claims include:
It violates due process for law enforcement to seize property for civil forfeiture when they stand to profit from those very forfeitures;
Cash is not a crime, and simply carrying your money in cash does not give law enforcement probable cause to seize it;
Civil forfeiture victims are entitled to prompt post-seizure hearings to force the government to prove it has a valid basis to hold the seized property; and
State law-enforcement officers can’t circumvent their own state’s forfeiture laws and the protections they give to property owners by using the federal equitable-sharing process instead.
“I’m very excited that my case can move forward, and I hope that one day we’ll have a final victory that will ensure no Nevadans are subjected to what I was subjected to that day,” said Stephen.

This is not consistent with Gab's understanding of the shooter's motives based on an Emergency Disclosure Request ("EDR") we received from the FBI last week for the Gab account "EpicMicrowave" which, based on the content of that EDR, the FBI appeared to think belonged to Thomas Crooks.
Many, particularly regime media reporters, have doubted Gab's claims that this request existed. Normally we don't confirm the existence or content of law enforcement communications. In this instance we had to make an exception due to the overwhelming public interest in disclosure and transparency.
As a courtesy to law enforcement, we are not going to post the entire request. This is the first page of that request.
The story is this: the account for which data was requested was, UNEQUIVOCALLY, pro-Biden and in particular pro-Biden's immigration policy.

Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and the U.S. women's gymnastics team continued their "redemption tour" at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Team USA was a disappointing runner-up to Russia in 2021 during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and has faced adversity on its way back to the Paris Games. However, a strong showing on Tuesday at the team finals after entering as the heavy favorites for gold helped the U.S. move back to the top of the sport.

Biles, Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey (Hezly Rivera did not compete) competed in four rotations of the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise during Tuesday's final against Brazil, Canada, China, Great Britain, Italy, Japan and Romania. In the team finals, the US held a commanding lead over its competition and cruised to a gold medal with strong performances all around.
USA has now won three of the last four golds in the team finals in the Olympics. The U.S. will have more action in the gymnastics competitions, including Thursday's women's all-around final. Biles competed in all the events despite a calf injury heading into the competition, and will be joined by Lee in the all-around final.
