We have several songs that are meaningful to us; 'our song' changes any given month. But if I had to pick right now, 'Nothing's Gonna Stop us now' by Starship(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp1dfoTV_z4) is a great song that sort of embodies our relationship. It's also probably going to be the closest thing we have to a wedding song.

We have a few songs. This first one is the oldest, and has the most memories associated with it. Many, many nights I’ve fallen asleep to it daydreaming of her. I hear this song in my mind when I see her smile, and I picture her smile when I hear this song.

This one speaks to my own girl from the north country. It’s one of the few songs I know by heart on guitar, I like to imagine I’m singing it to her. It’s a sad song, but one of heartfelt love and longing.

Another one I can play by heart. It’s almost as old to us as Rhubarb. Even now when I hear it, I can still close my eyes and see the most vivid fields of her past - the vast rolling plains, the streams through the copses, the crepuscular rays reaching out to our home by the forest’s edge. It’s one of those rare songs that seems to transport me through time.
