I'm sorry but that's completely fictional bullshit. UV rays break down practically everything, they're high power radiation, that cannot possibly be a reason for brown bottles. Beer isn't exposed to any amount of UV at any point in its production or life cycle, you're

I'm the fucking owner nor do you have a clue on the logistics of liquor. At one point I did use clear until people bitched about skunked beer, that ended with a switch to amber bottles.

Yeah, really? What brand, faggot? Nobody sells beer in clear containers in the US that I've ever seen, and I'm pretty sure it's not even legal. They have to be green or brown. How about you prove your claims instead of boasting unfalsifiable credentials on an anonymous Vaegir arrow fletching story circle?

I don't export to America due to local demand and me knowing the fact nobody is going to pay 25USD for a six pack. In potland Sleemans sells their stuff in clear bottles and two cases never taste the same, their canned stuff is consistent. Also I highly doubt you've never seen a filthy Corona or Modello considering 7-11 sells em, they're in clear bottles last I checked as with Miller branded stuff, mind you Miller uses a hop extract in their brew than the hops themselves leading to an odd flavor.

No beer is put in brown or green bottles because UV light breaks down chemicals in the hops in the beer, causing the beer to tastes like a skunks ass. That's why Corona tastes like shit and why if you leave a beer in the sun it tastes like shit too.

Originally I was a moonshiner and bootlegger way back in the day, my dayjob at the time was working in a brewery for 4.50/hr which kept the taxman off my ass for the time. Honestly I'd say to go find a brewery to work at and see if you can handle it. I had a lot of hit and miss when I started due to doing things by memory.

Yes, especially in snowy environments. It pisses me off whenever I see troops in full winter camo, and yet their guns, belts and pouches are all either black or some other color and not white. Like 30% - 40% of your body is covered in gear, if you don't paint that gear properly then you're only 60% camouflaged.

Camo not really, however non black furniture should be fucking mandatory, like non-black boots.
Camouflage is all about breaking up silhouettes. A gun, a long black stick, is pretty recognizable from afar… even more on a guy wearing a good camo.

this is why canada, instead of issuing different CADPAT in an arctic color mix and painting tanks white and such, literally just issues bedsheets and smocks and calls it a day
instead of needing separate white pouches/carriers/etc. or risking damaging them prematurely (and voiding MANY a service contract!!) by painting them repeatedly, you just keep your white poncho over all your shit and open the poncho to get at your stuff
im only partially joking about this. the arctic camo cover is just a white poncho kinda thing, and instead of repainting vehicles they actually do just have covers. the covers are more or less fitted to the vehicle and sewn up to fit properly but it's basically just white linens that go over your green stuff
i tried to look up pics to confirm and couldnt find any, but it seems that the US does something similar since theres tons of results for surplus US army/muhreen snow covers

humans are taller than they are wide so vertical stripes accentuate the silhouette
it's why pinstripe suits come in vertical stripes, it makes the eye follow your form better and makes you look gud and makes you stand out
horizontal stripes just become a mess

Indeed, the combat vests (and other equipment where applicable) would be painted/taped white. That just is not viable during peacetime training, when the same equipment is used year in and year out, conscript after conscript, and, God forbid, used in pictures like those. Of course, there could be two sets of the equipment with different color schemes, but that would just be unnecessarily expensive.

Could you even come up with a consistent training program for that?
That seems like something that would vary widely based on the individual soldier's level of perception and/or how good their eyesight is.

>Why is raindrop pattern so good? I like it, but I don't get it.
Just like other camouflage patterns, it uses colors that looks different depending on how the light falls on it. The part of your body that has a shadow cast onto it, looks different than the part where the sun shines onto etc. so despite it only having two similar colors, there are a lot more color shades seen by the human eye if it is worn in the field. Now the rain stripes additionally separate the colors into different random fields and cause a slight 3D effect, that together with the different shades of the colors blurs out the shape for the human eye.
Its the best pattern you can do before you get into camouflage pattern composed of dots, hence why you usually don't see the rain stripes on flecktarn type camouflage patterns as the dots do the same effect.

Why the fuck do we still use black paint as the default? It doesn't match any uniform and all it does is make you stand out. Light brown should be the default colour, as it matches practically everywhere.

>Why are nearly all camouflage patterns horizontally oriented and not vertically oriented?
Many patterns have no specific orientation.
>Wouldn't tiger stripe be more effective if the stripes were vertically oriented?
No. It would be much less effective at breaking up the human silhouette. Also, if you're in contact or about to be in contact, why aren't you prone, which will make your stripes point vertically, like the plant life?
This is why the Navy's AOR3 camo is horrible. It'd be acceptable–not great, but acceptable–if the pattern were turned ninety degrees.
