Jesus is:

• a descendant of Abraham (Genesis 22:18, Galatians 3:16)

• a descendant of King David (Matthew 1:6)

• a teacher who used parables so that only the chosen would understand Him (Matthew 13:11-16)

• the humble servant who suffered and died so that, by His blood, we who hated Him would receive full atonement for our sins (Leviticus 17:11, Isaiah 53:4)

• the Savior who suffered thirst and humiliation as He was crucified, as well as having soldiers cast lots for His clothes (Psalm 22:15,18, Matthew 27:35)
