And yeah I'm a trained hypnotist so I know that the whole pocket watch routine is just showmanship and entirely bullshit, but I also am a trained hypnotist so I know that showmanship and bullshit is 90% of successful hypnosis, so with a chick who just wants to do the roleplay and go along with it for fun, that's pretty much the perfect schtick.

Who else agrees that this is awesome?

Even if it's your mutual fantasy she could still consider it rape afterwards because she might believe that she's had no free will while hypnotized, that you could have influence her perception of it, or she's just freaked out by the actual experience and how she reacted to you while being hypnotized.

So in essence it's not really practical to just go all in. You'd have to do multiple sessions just to get her accustomed to being hypnotized and make sure that she knows that she can break trance at her own will and she's sure that she would do so if anything was seriously bothering about the experience.

Also, as someone having trouble getting into trance in a hypnosis setting, I don't think the pocket watch things are complete bs. It really helps to have something simple to focus on visually if you are easily distracted even with your eyes closed. You'd just have to move on with the induction before it gets too boring.

The pocket watch isn't BS, it's a point of focus. A modern hypnotist might instead you to focus on a spot on the wall.

It's just outdated cliche instead, which isn't the same thing.
