Would only recommend a small toy that stays in, whether it's a plug, prostate massager, or bullet vibe. The goal you're aiming for with them, is to induce physical sensations while going into and being in trance. Further, you want the sensation/vibration to be very minimal you do not want something jackhammering away. Anything that mimics a heartbeat pattern for example is fine.
Essentially, you forget the toy exists and is just another means of immersion.
A super easy way to drop out of trance is to have to readjust the toy because it fell out or because it's uncomfortable.
So I recommend returning that toy if it's massive, or keep it around just don't use it during hypnosis. Finding something smaller that will be as low maintenance as possible. Other toys I highly recommend are nipple suckers or clamps, as well as VR.
