I was once a patron of hers when she was starting her Patreon. Before, $25 was the highest tier and did not have the "brainwashing" tier ($100). I can't download either. Direct urls give me an error page. I can watch videos through the yiff proxy, but can't download them. Youtube-dl doesn't work. Jdownloader link inspector doesn't work. I can see connections to vimeo and akamaized using ublock's register but can't single out any specific url. I even tried messing around with http referers in case the vimeo link had some sort of protection and could be reached only from patreon, but it doesn't seem to work either.

I'm out of ideas.

I found a way to download single videos (Firefox):

- Go to dev tools, "Network" tab

- Filter by "master.json"

- Load the web page with the embedded video (reload, if "Network" tab wasn't shown while web page loaded)

- Wait a moment for "master.json" to appear

- Right click, copy its address

- Edit the URL: Discard the end part starting at "?" and replace the extension with ".m3u8".

- Pass that URL to youtube-dl

- Note: This results in the file having a totally generic filename. Make sure it gets its proper title. This means, you can't just batch-download a couple of files into the same folder. Then, they'll just get named "master-master.mp4", "master-master_2.mp4" and so on!

To batch-download and name every file correctly, you have to be clever and careful. All my explanations are for Firefox or Waterfox (good second browser for such projects, if Firefox is full of open tabs).

You must gather in separate lists (a) the "master.json" URLs and (b) the data you want to put in the filenames (like video title, perhaps date). It is of utmost importance that these lists stay synchronized to each other regarding their order.

Getting the "master.json" URLs:

- Install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/request-assistant/, set "browser.dom.window.dump.enabled" on the "about:config" page to "true" and start the browser with the command line argument "-console". Now, every http request including the ones we look for are dumped into a *native* console window. Don't unnecessarily let this log grow. Restart the browser to clear this log. The log may not be truncated after a number of lines that's not high enough, which Windows does however. This is about the lines of data that are kept when new line come in and there are already many lines. If in doubt, increase the number (check dialogs behind "Properties" *and* "Defaults"): https://www.top-password.com/blog/change-screen-buffer-size-in-windows-command-prompt/

- Get the "master.json" URLs to get logged in the correct order. For me, these URLs were always logged when I moved the mouse cursor over the video area. So, you can open a bunch of video pages with Ctrl+click (pay attention to the order they open in), then visit them one after the other and move the mouse over the video every time. Verify that, on every mouse move, the "master.json" URL gets logged. (Attention: These URLs seem to have and expiration date. So, don't stretch out the work till download over an extended period of time.) (If you know what you're doing, you may be able to create yourself a local HTML page that has all embeds on it, so you don't have to visit tabs. E.g., download the pages with the embeds with aria2c (specify output filenames for correct order!), join them and remove everything from "</body>" to "<body>".)

- Copy the whole log: Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C.

- Filter the log lines, e.g., with regular expressions. The lines you're interested in start with "RequestAssistant" and end (at least for me) with "/master.json?base64_init=1". Get rid of the non-URL part in each of the remaining lines.

Getting filename data:

- If you're not inclined to do this manually, open the dev console and use one of the following snippets to copy the data to the clipboard. Always check and, if applicable, compare the number of items/lines with the correct/expected/other count. Also, look over the resulting list for plausible correctness. The order seems to reliably be the one that's displayed.

- Superimposed info after clicking on video images:

- Titles: copy(Array.from(document.querySelectorAll(".card-reveal > .card-title")).map((elem) => elem.firstChild.textContent.trim()).join("\n"))

- Timestamps: copy(Array.from(document.querySelectorAll(".card-reveal > .card-title > .post-time")).map((elem) => elem.textContent.trim()).join("\n"))

- Video page URLs with Vimeo embeds (can be used with tab-opening addon, if such an addon is reliable orderwise): copy(Array.from(document.querySelectorAll(".card-reveal > .card-embed .yp-vimeo-proxy-embed > a")).map((elem) => elem.textContent.trim()).join("\n"))

Building download command lines:

- You can use LibreOffice Calc to piece together the command lines by gathering pieces of information in columns, then do text concatenation with a formula.

- Pay attention to illegal filename characters like ":" from timestamps.

- Example command line (test before batch use): youtube-dl "https://this.is/an/example/master.m3u8" –output "Obedience Is Pleasure.%(ext)s"

- The quotes are important.

- Don't accidentally trigger an unwanted youtube-dl filenaming template by using a percent sign. Use "%%" for literal "%".

- Then, download: Test 1 command line, then 2, then all by copying them into a temporary .bat file. Call the .bat file from a console window you opened first, otherwise an error message will only be shown for 0.0001 seconds.
