I'm aware of that social taboo, but it still doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. From my perspective, if you're watching someone have sex on film, you've already went past the point of no return, so censoring the genitals is a wasted effort on their part. How does a pixel-aided crotch preserve someone's "purity" or "innocence" (for the record, I don't subscribe to the "sex before marriage/masturbation makes you impure/corrupts you/destroys your innocence" mindset) when they are performing graphic sex acts that one would consider crude or in some cases fetishistic?
