I seem to have a problem with the unpacked exe.
I have unpacked exe, live.dll, and the output folder in the same folder, but I get an error that says something like "インストールし直してください" (this is an OCR of the error).
Unmodified game exe runs fine (1.07), and I get this error even before using the translated files.
If it's a known error, I'd appreciate the fix, otherwise don't worry about it. Thanks.

It's using japanese fonts
I don't remember if you could set up english fonts, but japanese fonts are "larger", which causes it to look like that. Also sort of fixed-width.
There was a menu option for fonts, I just don't remember if it included non-japanese ones.

I dunno about the script, but you can use whatever was gathered and made in this Zip, includes the assets like the amputee Feena and other layers, also the incomplete script itself and tools for converting. Needs GIMP 2 to edit the assets. Use GraphicsGale to convert the finished image for use in-game.

This is the actually the furthest I've seen a "JRPG" come close to a classic crpg. It's missing some of the elements of a true great roleplaying game (and the dialogue and world building while a bit stronger than it's contemporaries is lacking quite a bit) but it is a small game. With a large team and budget they could make something great.
