Only a little ways in, but aside from obvious stuff like the scenarios and map(s?), there's a womb icon in the "family" tab that I don't remember in eratohoK. It's probably a womb filling or pregnancy indicator. There's an item for getting close friendship with lovers that I don't remember being in K. There's the extra breast size above "huge." There's a "stroll" option in the administration phase that looks like it'll be some thing for interacting with some of your officers. Exploration can be done during the administration phase and I don't remember tohoK ever having that. Never messed with the reverse mode. My uneducated guess is that it was just abandoned. Tentacle Palace and Reverse Tentacle Palace overlap code, if I remember, but not as much as a person might expect. GvT's systems are a little simpler since there's no map to manage, but it's tough to see exactly what the reverse mode would be other than combat. It'd have to abstract away all the player choices in normal GvT and that would be pretty complicated since a big part of the game is how characters are actively developed. As for a "sigil," from my reading it's basically a lewd crest. I think it's part of the corruption mechanics that let your characters get taken over by the tentacles. I've never had that actually happen in game, though, so I can't be completely sure. Also kind of off-subject: someone posted https://github.com/emicoto/eraGVT-SP a while back saying they were working on translating THAT version of GvT. Overall? Dunno, if there's no estimate given. The fellow who did the last batch of translation really put in a lot of work, but that game has a surprisingly large amount of text. It's been playable for a long time, but there's a lot of descriptive text and events that may or may not be finished. 8000 line files that are about 4000 lines dialogue. Even skipping NTR and other shit content, it's still a good 3500 lines. There are 16 of these files for me to go through as well as 110 command files to go through. Not to mention the author's pet characters who get 12000 lines devoted to them. Don't expect dialogue to be translated any time soon. Just getting the UI and the game to actually tell you what your actions did would is challenge enough.

If you have some nip knowledge and aren't dekinai you can start translating your own favourites. If we had enough anons interested translation for games would go a lot faster. Even if you are dekinai as long as you have a good head on your shoulder parsing through MTL and editing it up would be a big help.

Get a tripod for your phone or tablet, use the video function of Jewgle Translate, turn phone/tablet sideways and put it on the tripod in front of your monitor.

Haven't played that in a while. You also ought to be able to build a room facility that generates pollution passively. I don't exactly remember if monsters generate pollution passively, but certain monsters can generate extra pollution when certain actions happen in combat, although it's a pretty small amount. I thought there was an in-game guide that would mention the monsters that do that, but maybe I'm thinking of something else. The bonuses that increase pollution everywhere are mostly good for when the pollution level nosedives in a bunch of rooms at once, which I think happens only when a new girl enters the maze. I usually wouldn't spend "z" points on the pollution bonus, though, since the other bonus events are not uncommon.

You can use the "genetics" or "strengthen body" options from the Residents menu. Genetics is used to give residents the genomes that you find during searches in higher leveled or deeper areas. Each genome of any type gives 5 skill points as well as some stats, but a resident can only get a given type of genome once. That's 100 skill points once someone has all the genomes. Strengthen Body gives something like 6 skill points every time you use it, but it's kinda expensive and requires those "achievement points" that can be hard to come by.

I just cheat for money in eraAS, so I have no idea how money is actually supposed to be made in that one, aside from automatically by residents, occasionally during end-of-turn events for residents you're monitoring, and in the fairly common scouting event that generates a little cash. That game doesn't always spell out how exactly your residents are affecting your city's numbers or facility levels, and since you usually have a lot of them with different jobs and alignments and experience I haven't bothered to figure it out. Even the in-game help is pretty vague. Generally, though, having more residents with higher contribution values ought to produce more cash. Having more pregnant girls gives more BP, which lets you regain more TP, which gives more opportunities to work with a resident and improve their contribution values quickly. I don't know if cashflow is otherwise something you can easily optimize.

It can often be better to keep captured officers of other countries in prison or let them go. Get 3k as fast as you can, work if you must. With that you can use the arena for some early money as well as fighting/def exp. Research videocamera and tape asap and make porn for troops and more cash. The effectiveness of porn depends on total orgasm size filmed so make sure you develop a girl or two from the start to prepare them. Dating takes too long so just stick them in the dungeon.

If you fail to have a respectable army by the initial peace period ends make ceasefires or alliances with your neighbors. Take note that their other allies may still attack you through them.

The problem with "development" in era games is that many of them are primarily developed by a bunch of Japanese folks that, as far as I know, nobody really interacts with. That means that any original content developed on this end can and often does conflict with updates the Japanese make, and also that nobody on this end really knows when to expect those updates or what to expect from them. Also, translations need to be merged back in manually when the Japanese do update, but mods ALSO need to be merged in manually, which means extra and not trivial manual work that individuals who do the merging might not want to commit to doing.

Pregmod, by contrast, has strong centralized control, uses the features of their git and, importantly, also has contributors who know how to and do use the features of git to make things easier on the one guy in charge of merging code. Every individual era game is not only primarily developed by people who aren't us and don't speak English, but also doesn't have (or necessarily need) the same centralized control. Centralization has actively burned the eragames project in the past, even. There also aren't a lot of contributors for these projects who actually know how to use the era git's tools for collaborative developement very well (I, for one, have tried to do so and yet am extremely bad at it.) Lastly, the discord is the primary central place for discussion of the games, yet the second most active place to discuss them is literally here and (often for good reasons) folks around here tend to rabidly dislike discord. This all tends to make the community a little fractured, especially with respect to mods, since every individual mod actually saddles someone (probably not the original modder, either) with the responsibility of making it work in new versions. Personally, I've mostly worked on simpler eragames that haven't updated in years. I've deliberately not worked on K just because it's this big sprawling code mess that'd never be worth getting my head around no matter how much I love the sex system.

Autists show up and translate who they want when they want and then drop out or come back or not. I don't believe that even these guys have said they expect to get everyone's dialog in any one game to 100%. If you want gems or something, modify the code and add a line to, say, the end of training that automatically gives you a hundred thousand gems of the type you want. I guess what I ought to have said is that I feel like K's a mess because it's eramaker code (which feels tough to keep readable to begin with), because it uses a lot of kanji in functions and variables (which simpler era games don't seem to do often), and because it's a big game with a lot of non-sex systems and a complicated sex system, unlike pretty much all other era games. It'd be too much for me as an amateur nodev coder to want to work with when nice straightforward things like MeiQGaiden and eraWiz and eraAS are around.

I'd like to emphasize this sentiment. Some of these games have thousands upon thousands of lines of dialog or flavor or sex text. We've all seen relatively unpopular touhous with a billion lines of dialog in one of the popular era games due to Japanese autism, but there are many era games and apparently a lot of Japanese autists. ReverseTentaclePalace has hundreds of lines just to describe combat, for instance, spread out over several files. I don't think anyone's even touched girl dialog in that game, and some are very chatty. The willingness to grind through stuff like that even when it is uninteresting is the heavy lifting power that gets games translated.

Well that's part of being a dungeon master. It's more about training up your captured heroes. The level of heroes will increase as days go on, as per the Hero Growth setting. Other than that there doesn't seem to be any.
