I use a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series with an Intel Core i7 8th Gen, it can run Ubuntu out of the box, for Debian you'll need to disable secure boot, it cannot boot Tails or Qubes and I haven't figured out why, so yeah it's pretty botnet but it's powerful (4GHz and 12gb of ram)
