I'll admit I often still listen to ``furry'' music.

A crazy lot of things, but I'm in an emotionally drained, heavy ambient mood rn so that's what I'm gonna post.

>furry music
I never understood this. What makes a music "furry" beyond attaching an anthro avatar/sona to it? Does it get special preference solely due to that?

The reason why I put the quotation marks around ``furry'' three months ago is because I don't think music can really be furry, at least, not unless it uses tons of animal noises or has explicitly furry-themed lyrics, like lyrics about sex.
But yeah, most people just jump onto anything with furry cover art, sadly.

I suppose it could be as simple a referring to music scenes within the community, but music can also express character and narrative, with or without lyrics. If the music is an expression of furry themes, characters, or narratives then I think it's justified to call it furry music.

Agreed. But most people will simply call any Lapfox song furry music, for example.
