Don't do that.
For me, it started with deciding to stop drinking alcohol - and once I figured I can live without getting smashed every fucking night (because I was depressed and didn't give a fuck if I live or die) I decided to go full out. Cut out junk food, sweets, sodas, pastries, only eat meat and eggs, with veggies and fruits to kill that craving. For exercise, I realized that I would walk everywhere - so I had 10 kilometer walks daily. Go to the store? Walk there. Meet some friends? Walk there. Go to job? Walk there. Stairs in the way? Climb those fuckers.
By the end of month 2, I was 10 kilos lighter just from that. I started at 147 kilos (that's 324 pounds), I was at 137 after eight weeks. The hardest part here was the booze - my friends are heavy drinkers, but they ended up supporting the shit out of me. So it's really important to constantly remind yourself that you can do it, and if you have friends supporting you, the better.
At this point, you'll also get this question popping in your head: Do I really need to eat/drink this? You'll figure out that the answer is no, and the fucking amount of willpower you get when you figure out that you really don't have to eat or drink is incredible. Once you realize that you have that discipline and willpower to really push through, it gets to the next step.
For me, it was starting a small house gym. I was still socially retarded and considered myself an ugly fat fuck to hit the gym, so I decided to exercise at home. Bought a couple of kettlebells, read more about proper exercise routines, went at it. Organized my day so that I'd spend 1 hour walking to work, 8 hours working,1 hour walking home from work, 2 hours exercising, 2 hours for me time and 8 hours for sleeping. Sundays were rest days. Saturdays rotated - I'd either spend 6 hours exercising, or 6 hours outside visiting museums, art galleries, shit like that (of course, walking everywhere). Morning cardio is a must.
Once I had my daily schedule down, I went with intermittent fasting. Eat lightly for breakfast around 8 AM, last meal was around 2 PM. At first, it was a nightmare to get into it, my body wanted more food but I denied it. Remember this: knowledge is half the battle, the other half is commitment. Go for it. Really remember what you're doing it for - you're doing it for yourself.
If you want more cardio, go dancing. That will also help you with your social skills. You'll already feel more confident with how you look because you'll notice the changes, and that confidence will shine through. Don't go looking for sex - you're there to brush up on your social skills, and if something happens, great. If not, great - you've met some really interesting people.
What are the results from this? I can now hit 30 kilometers daily, lost 44 kilograms, got into mountaineering, had the courage to climb the Alps, and feel amazing. The mental strength you get from this is the best thing though - I managed to beat my depression into pulp by getting fitter.
Next step for me? Proper gym and martial arts.
We're all gonna make it bruh.
