Have any of you clowny niggers made your own home gym equipment?

Thinking about making my own barbell plates with cement

I made a wrist roller. It's only a 2" thick dowel with a hole and some rope attached to a weight. Pretty simple.

You can buy weights really cheap on craigslist, especially if you don't mind some rust. Concrete is heavy, but if you don't put it down exactly the right way, you will split it. To do it right with some rebar for strength, you could have went to craigslist.

This is pretty much what I did except my dowel was thicker.

Pic (not me) is pretty much my setup except they used PVC, not a bad idea, my wood is a bit more grippy.

Actually, PVC is pretty clever, you only need one hole in the side and you can hide the knot on the inside of the pipe.
