 No.127890[Watch Thread][Show All Posts]

I have weeks when I am super strong and my endurance is great then weeks when I can hardly do shit.

Two weeks ago I did 11 pull ups in a row then last week I could only make 6 now its 4 and its going down to 1 max sometimes (I do pull ups everyday).

Same with my cardio and I run everyday.

So wtf am I overtraining?

I run everyday at least 3 miles, I do total 30 pull ups everyday and 100 total push ups but my cardio and rep range for bodyweight is going down. My lifts have all stayed the same basically except my bench seems to have went up.

Chad unrelated

Sleep well, eat well.

What are your lifts?

Because the 3 miles, 30 pull ups and 100 total push ups thing is not overtraining, its barely training.

If you're the guy who wanted to join the french foreign legion 30 pullups a day is not enough.

And I don't think you are overtraining with 3 times a week of full body.

Maybe an anxiety / stress issue? It can happen to anyone before an important test.

Make sure you sleep enough. Maybe consult a physician.

I am not joining the legion that must be a different fellow. We have a perfectly fine military here in Canada to join.

I will leave my ego at the door for a moment.

I will run for 1 hour. 500 push ups. 100 pull ups a day. 2000 sit ups. In total.

Problem with that buddy boy?

Eat more.

 No.127919

Endurance running of any sort is always overtraining. All endurance athletes become catabolic should they train long enough through the overproduction of stress hormones and premature aging which is initiated by the release of volatile free fatty acids into the blood stream. Thyroid function is suppressed in such individuals and reliance on cortisol and adrenaline for day to day functioning becomes the norm. The safe way to eliminate these fatty acids and lower body fat % while maintaining youthful thyroid axis function is to increase muscle mass through resistance training or sprints of short duration, because muscles feed on fat.

Thats sodium and potassium doesnt magically appear on your cells, you need total rest day

 No.127982

What did you do prior to attempting the pullups?

If you are doing 30 pullups everyday, then very possible you have not recovered if you are dropping to only one rep.

Is the lower reps you are talking about the 2nd or 3rd set, if so you are a retard.
