I used to play a lot of Sonic Dash before I lost all my progress after switching phones. Was a good time waster.
I played a lot of the original Sonic Runners, I remember redoing the tutorial over and over to get a free spin to get Metal Sonic.

I used to play Dash and Runners back when they were new games. I didn't really play a lot of Dash since it got old pretty quick and ran pretty bad in all my devices, but I played a fair bit of Runners and actually had quite a bit of fun with it, at least before they actually released it worldwide and starting fucking with it. I think it's a shame what happened with that game, I really liked the gameplay, even though once you learned the sections they grew tiring pretty quickly. Eventually, when they started adding more characters that you could unlock, I saved all I could to be able to try to unlock Shadow and then I spent all I had saved without success so I just stopped playing out of frustration.

Well damn anon, sorry that happened. I had only downloaded Runners maybe a month before it shut down so I wasn't able to get Shadow either.

The early days of Runners was quite fun, but yeah they fucked up everything after launch badly.
I feel bad for anyone who put money into it considering it only lasted around a year before being shut down.
