With Mercedes' announcement today of Bottasu as Rosberg's replacement, all 2017 seats are confirmed pending resolution of Manor's life or death predicament.
Car launch dates start around the 4th week of February.
Pre-season testing will take place at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya February 27-March 2 & March 7-10.

I sincerely hope Ferrari can have a better showing than last year, which was not ideal but at least it wasn't the joke levels of performance that McLaren have been showing since the Honda switch.
Though the new regs should help Vettel's perform better with big grip and big downforce, hopefully Kimi has one big effort in him and have a shot at the title.
For the year, I am expecting Mercedes to be still strong but I am optimistic that Ferrari have been able to improve their development situation as last year they did fall away but was able to come back, so hopefully the restructurings have been effective and can have a good year with developing the car. They have also been able to come up with original aero solutions of their own in a long while which is very encouraging.
The McLaren Honda horror show should still be entertaining to see as it has been so far.

McLaren get HUGE amounts of money from Honda. It would be very unwise for them, even in these difficult circumstances, to let it go as they don't have anything to plug that gap apart from putting their own cash on the line which is something I doubt they and their shareholders would be willing to do. I still think the hustle job of Ron to bring in Honda and make them pay for the privilege greatly is a miracle work that can't be done without him.
Also, eventually Honda has to get some sort of performance out as the current situation is not only extremely damaging for McLaren, but doubly so for Honda. They might lose Alonso in the process but at least they have Stoffel who could be a great driver and lead the team.
With Renault it will be quite interesting as the works car is not competing where they want and when they eventually get to where they want to be, do you think they would be so chummy with RedBull anymore? Even Redbull will be looking over their shoulder very soon for an engine solution as eventually, the works renault would definitely would not want to give away their full engine advantage to the Bulls.
