>Damon Hill

What kind of fucking moron goes from winning the championship for Williams to driving for Arrows within the space of 6 months? I mean don't get me wrong, Hill was already 36 when he won the WDC so his career was drawing to close after just 6 seasons, but he definitely still had a couple extra years of talent in him. By the time he came to his senses and moved to Jordan, the damage had already been done. He got his ass kicked by RSC and HHF on a regular basis, and he had to suck Eddie Jordan's dick via team radio to make sure the former didn't overtake him at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix and deny him a final win.

>Jacques Villeneuve

I don't know what the fuck it is they put in the water supply over at Williams, but 2 years after winning WDC he moved to a no-name BAR that would take until 2004 to get strong, and by that point he left for Sauber. He was promised a drive at McLaren for 2002 but when Raikkonen turned out to be a much better option he got dumped. By the end of his career he was probably giving BJs behind his local Tim Hortons just to make ends meet, as he turned into the most egotistical unlikable prick the sport will ever see. Although I was against it at the time, it's a shame Schumacher didn't run Villeneuve into the wall at 200 mph instead of a simple love tap and spared us from such a miserable waste of motherfucking space that wouldn't even let video games use his name.

>Eddie Irvine

Of course, he had some shitty moments while at Ferrari (7 retirements in a row in 1996!), but in the early 2000s he was clearly destined for greater things than Jaguar.

4th place at Monaco in 2000, 3rd place a year later, and another 3rd at the 2002 Italian GP. Herbert, Burti and de la Rosa didn't have shit on this guy. It's clear he was pulling the team, not the other way around and quite frankly, deserved better. At least he had fun.

>Heinz Beanz Frentzen

This man went from driving for a still-good Jordan team, to an abysmal Prost (which collapsed at the end of the year), to Arrows (which collapsed at the end of that year), to Sauber, where he scored a podium at the USGP. With talent like that, he had no business being in a car that low on the pecking order. Also I think HHF has the distinction of not only being cucked in F1, but also cucked IRL because Michael Schumacher took his hoe. And why the fuck does he look so goddamn Asian? Was his dad cucked too? First time I saw his pic I thought he was Takuma Sato.

>Michael Schumacher

From what I understand, literally the only reason he retired in 2006 was because Ferrari had already signed Raikkonen for '07, and Massa was MSC's protege who would've had to leave the team or be demoted to test driver if Schumacher decided to stay, so he left to benefact Massa. When you're at 91 fucking wins you don't stop before you reach the big 100. Biggest cock-tease in motor-racing history. Then he left the year before Mercedes finally got gud, after such a ridiculously bad season.

>David Coulthard

Because McLaren had such a bad year in 2004, he went to Red Bull of all teams, which at that point in time was just a rebadged Jaguar. Then he left before Red Bull got serious in '09, after scoring a couple of podiums with the team. No doubt he had the potential to win in 2009, or pose a threat in earlier seasons if he decided to move to a better team like Toyota or BAR.

Damon Hill got kicked out of Williams at the end of '95; his contract just didn't expire until the end of '96 and Frank didn't want to pay the cost of breaking it early. I don't think he cucked himself, he performed like shit in '95 because he was depressed over getting cheated out of what he thought would be his only shot at the title in '94 due to Briatore's cheaty Benetton.

I don't know what the deal with Villeneuve was, he was a formidable driver in both CART and F1, I think the red Williams just broke him like it did the team or something.

>Irvine

Was always shit and always lazy, if he'd had tried just a little harder in the first half on '99, he'd be a WDC.

>Frentzen

Wasted his only chance in a top car in '97.

>Schumacher

Massa was not MSC's protege in any way except trying to make sure Massa was good enough to make Kimi look bad, which worked. Ferrari did not believe they were getting there money's worth with Kimi in '07, and midway through '08 switched Massa to be the driver who receives upgrades first. I don't think he really gave a fuck about getting 100 wins; Loeb won 9 WRC titles and had his pick of literally any team, he could have easily had another 4 but he decided not to. I think him leaving Merc is probably related to Brawn leaving at the same time.

>Coulthard

Early on in his Mclaren career he was outperforming Hakkinen consistently, but Mclaren favored Hakkinen as he was from within their own development program. He was fairly old by 09 and not necessarily at his peak.

I wouldn't say not having a WDC or multiple WDC is really being cucked though, let's face it who would your rather be; Sir Stirling Moss or Jacques Villeneuve?

Loeb won his championships mainly because nobody beyond Citroen was willing to spend serious money on playing catch-up with them and the overall lack of interest.

I actually looked how much each team spent in WRC and Citroen outspent their competition combined 2 to 1. All Loeb had to do was to keep the car on the road and he'd win it by simply french teams preferring french drivers.

>Jacques

As a Jacques fan, I say it was Craig Pollock's influence. The Jacques and Craig Pollock relationship gave me vibes about the hockey player Mike Danton and his pedo agent David Frost.

If I remember correctly from listening to Steve Matchett on SPEED back in 2001, he said it was Paul Morgan from Illmor (who were making the Mercedes engines for McLaren) who wanted Jacques in the McLaren, but then Paul died in a plane crash and those plans were scrapped.

He could have joined Benetton/Renault, when Flavio gave him a huge contract in 2001 or 2000 I believe, but he refused to stay with BAR.

>Frentzen

Jordan sacked him just before the 2001 German Grand Prix, his home race, which pissed off a lot of Jordan's German sponsors like DHL. Eddie Jordan said he did it to "please Honda by hiring Takuma Sato" although he could have just done that at the end of the season. Although I'm sure there was other issues between Eddie and HHF that happened before that.

Also Jacques said the reason why Frentzen didn't perform as well at Williams was due to clashes with Patrick Head, and he himself was clashing with Patrick Head over car setup.

>Coulthard

Overrated. He should have never left Williams to join McLaren in 96.

>Fisichella

Really questionable and dumb career choices. When he got a world title winning car in 2005 at Renault, he got out classed by Alonso.

>Hulkenberg

Signed that Renault contract way too early. Could have joined Mercedes this year.

Yes and he could have picked any team he wanted when they left, he could have got another 4 with VW but decided to stick with Citroen and move to touring.

>Irvine

Got paid a ridiculous amount of money by Jaguar. He said they paid him an extra three million if he signed for three instead of just two years.

>Patrick Head

Williams has a history as a catty and petty team, but Patrick Head has been responsible for a number of these instances.

When Frank Williams was basically potatoed from crashing a rental car (I still want to know what happened that made this a crippling event) Patrick Head ran the team. Patrick Head had massive bias in favor of Nigel Mansell, when number 1 status had been contractually promised to Nelson Piquet on account of his status and his bringing honda engines among other things.

Patrick Head is a dick.

He also assigned a rookie race engineer to Zanardi when he was driving for Williams.

It was in one of those F1 Racing Magazine issues. That was Zanardi's claim in an interview.
