Is it worth bumping this for tomorrow's race? With Porsche and Audi now gone it's a dead cert Toyota will steamroll everything in the final running of Le Mans with LMP1 at the top, given that their nearest competitors are the privateer Rebellion and not-Lotus teams. I think given this lacklustre field it's the ultimate test to see whether or not they actually got voodoo'd a quarter of a century ago:
>1992: 2nd place
>1993: C2 win, C1 almost got the lead in the night before being hit from behind, the others were befallen with failures
>1994: Leading until the final 90 minutes when the gearbox broke
>1998: Set fastest lap and highest speed, all but one DNF'd, finishing in 9th
>1999: Leading until the final hour, when a slow BMW ran it off the road to stop itself from being lapped
>2013: 2nd place
>2014: Lead for half the race until a critical mechanical failure caused by a piece of FIA tech
>2015: No chance in hell
>2016: Lead until the final lap when a hose clamp failed, Porsche beat it across the line
>2017: Pole and 2nd place in qualifying, led well in the first hours then failures and crashes all around, only one car finished in 8th
