It could be suggested that the show will be returning to its original "pre-2002" format which would probably be the smartest choice. tbh I'm going to buy W10 and an SSD to throw in my old box (original i7) since according to my M$ friend the license isn't hardware-locked anymore. so the plan is to upgrade the rest of the hardware eventually since staying on 7 isn't a long-term solution. I have this weird situation where the photo workstation (exact same hardware/vintage though) has a ton of licenses on it and was upgraded to W10 but my other one has pretty much nothing besides data on it and is still on 7.
